Hi, everyone!
...um, I'm awful at introductions, but I'll try to whip up something.
I'm Heli, a proud Finn, and currently sitting in a really cold apartment; it's -18 degrees Celsius outside (around 0 in Fahrenheit), and yesterday it was -27C (-17F) when I went outside.
Anyways, back to topic. A few days ago I was browsing around the internet, talking with a friend via MSN and looking for something interesting to occupy my time. My friend suggested me to check out Lovehammers, and I did. You probably guess what happened... Yup, I got really stoked up by the music they've got on MySpace, and started following links from one site to another, finally ending up here.
Right now, I'm anxiously waiting for this month to end so that I can actually buy a Lovehammers record - I need to check a lot of stores to see from where I can order it. Until then, well... Um. I'll make do?

 Heli. Glad you found us. There is lots to see and do here as you will find. Check out the lovehammersStore.com for CD's. It's cold over here as well  . Let us know if you have any questions about the site.

Hi Heli, I'm glad you found Lovehammers, believe me you are in good company here we all love these guys.  So feel free to jump in and post anytime, lots of new stuff happening all the time. Hey, rockfan and ycrney, and thanks for your welcoming replies! Warms my heart, they do!  I checked the LovehammersStore.com, but it apparently works with PayPal only, which I cannot use due to security issues with my bank.  Would've loved to buy the CDs from there instead of having to start scouring Amazon and other online stores. ---Heli |

Heli - you might want to try iTunes, Amazon.com, CDbaby.com to name a few other sources.

He Heli, Wow, this is SO cool. I am actually going to Finland this year for the first time and my daughter's fave band is from Finland too -- do you know H.I.M.? Anyway, as a Hammerhead who also has to deal with international shipping, ordering etc, I understand your pain. The good news is I have had great success with both cdbaby.com and Amazon.com. Welcome Heli! Greetings from Manila!  I too had success with cdbaby and amazon in getting the Lovehammers' CD's (L'Strange, Murder On My Mind and MCLH). I also got my Rockstar INXS from amazon... so there you go, you might want to try them too!  |

Heee, thanks everyone for the welcoming replies! They're keeping me warm, unlike the good-for-nothing heater in my apartment. Nah, just joking about the heater. It works. Sorta.  chk, what part of Finland are you going to visit? If you need a tourist guide, well, I'm always volunteering! As for HIM, yeah, I know about them. I've actually worked as a bouncer on a gig they had a few years back in ProvinssiRock. I remember when they started and Ville's voice sounded really unique. Nowadays there seems to be bands around that just copy their sound, which is a pity. HIM's not one of my favourite bands, but they do make good music, can't deny that. As for getting Lovehammers' CDs, I thank Amazon.co.uk for being awesome enough to import their music and DVDs. Now, when next month comes, I'll be ordering some music!  |
