Personal favorit - Marty on his knees in I Alone Agree 100%...the name of the show is Rock Star and there's nothing more rock star then smashing a guitar. ...Marty on his knees is your fav, eh? Not too surprising, I think anytime Marty gets down on his knees would be a fav of most of the ladies here, lol!

Somebody swooped in at the last second and left us both heartbroken! My personal favorite performance is Creep. This slapped me with the realization that Marty had TOTALLY transformed himself from the person who first entered the competition. He had already had so many great performances leading up to that, but I was so moved by it that it still haunts me (pleeeeaaaase make it stop!!). Marty IS the undeniable Rockstar!

My personal favorite performance is Creep. .....Marty IS the undeniable Rockstar! Right on. It hit me after that performance ended that Marty was the one and only contestant on that show who could have pulled that song off. There were other singers on the show who, technically, have better voices (and most of them were very talented so I'm certainly not slagging them off), but I don't think anyone else had the passion and the power required to do that song with real credibility the way Marty did. There seems to be a real source of pain and energy that Marty is able to tap into that just brings a sense of total committment and weightiness to his performances that I don't think anyone else could have brought to that song. It was an awesome moment. (Same thing with I, Alone.) I read a commentary at one point on a website somewhere where the author said "so-and-so may have the best voice, and so-and-so may have the rocker tattoos, but Marty has the pain". I read that and thought -- that's exactly it, absolutely.
