MiG's my other favorite. I was rooting for him during the show, and then once the show was over, kept watching my tapes, and before I knew it, had to add Marty to my crush list!

Hi guys, I have said this before but I have to say it again as I have just recieved my CD "ROCK STAR A Night at The Mayan Theatre". I just love JORDIS, her version of 'The Man Who Sold The World' just blows me away. I am also a MIG fan. Both very talented, not as good as our MARTY but certainly great perormers in their own right. Cheers, Helen

Cheers, Helen I totally agree with you about Jordis, Helen. There is only one song on my ipod that isn't by Marty or the Lovehammers, and that's Jordis' "Man Who Sold the World". I'm a huge Bowie fan so I've always loved that song. Jordis definitely did it justice. I'm looking forward to hearing more from her in the future. She's extremely talented.

I have to say that I really enjoyed each and every performer on the show. They were all characters on my favorite show of all time! Marty was the only performer that had me cheering (held my breath until he finished singing). What a sigh of relief (and a sense of pride) after each killer performance he gave!! Behind Marty, my runner-up was JD. Gotta love those chipmunk cheeks and all the drama!

I became a fan of Marty's the first episode when Suzie gave him a hard time about the "nodes" on his vocal chords. He had the sweetest look on his face even as he struggled w/ his emotions class act all the way. I really like Jordis and JD grew on me towards the end...my sister HATED JD w/ a passion but on the finale when she saw the genuine tears on his face she was like "damn it now I have to like the guy. He's like a puppy whose been kicked one too many times" I think that about sums it up...

yeah JD's insecurity led to a lot of that posing/brashness, I think. I thought his performances were okay, really --as were lots of the rockers'; but I was only a fan of Marty. He's certainly the only one I voted for --and it cost $ to vote from here!

Oooops.... I'm a #1 JD fan who also loves Marty. I became a member here because I'm interested in Marty too. I give much respect to all the RS singers and enjoyed every minute watching. I am going to the concert here in Seattle and I am so glad that Marty's Lovehammers will sing first. I'm looking forward to hearing Trees live, especially since I can sign along.

WELCOME, barbara123! I, too, enjoyed RS and even though I became a Marty girl, I respect everyone who was on the show. I know I wouldn't have even made it through auditions!
I hope you'll only feel marty love, but be warned, the marty love gets a bit wild and crazy!!!
Congratulations on going to the concert!!!! I wonder if Rockbeast is going to that one? Hmmm, check out the "this weekend, off with the hair" thread under off topic to see the one and only Rockbeast!
Rock on!

I loved Marty from the very beginning, but if I were to go for another as well, I'd definately have to say Miggy, he was one of the sweetest people on the show

Suzie, I just don't know why. Well maybe because she cried most whenever somebody is not right for the band Inxs.

Looking back on some of my taped episodes, I pay more attention to reactions, and it's amazing. I remember when Ty got eliminated, Miggy got so emotional, he gave my mom a run for her money, & she's REALLY emotional.

Jordis is the only other RS that I downloaded from MSN. MWSTW, Imagine and Try Not are on my ipod daily playlist named "Favorites". That playlist is getting so long now. It's hard to pick a favorite LH song now...they are all so awesome. I can't wait to hear the songs she and Marty worked on together for her new CD.

Marty had always been my favorite right when he stepped off the bus. Man, I thought to myself he is really cute. I sure do hope that he can sing. Marty is real talented. But you know how reality tv shows go anyone can be voted off.

after watching all the episodes, i'd have to say that i looooove jordis (TMWSTW was amazing... that is also the only non-marty-rs:inxs song that i have on my mp3 player...)... of course, mig is still my second fave, but my jordis love has definitely increased so much so that i would buy her cd if she ever release one... i also love the two songs i have heard from her previous band (Liar's Club... i was really sad when she left the band and went solo...), and had those two songs on my favorite-songs list (the rest are LH songs)... i definitely recommend these two: "Gimme" and "Know It All"... darn good...

Marty by far was my favorite..... Jordis was 2nd and Ty was a close 3rd. I think they all were talented to some extent... better than I could EVER do.

MiG is the one that got me into Rockstar...but after the show Marty put his delayed spell on me and the rest is history! Still like MiG though. Also like some songs of Tara, Suzie, and Jordis.
