Marty's msn rockstar blog? My guess is that he was talking about that time that JD said he was the true INXS fan and while everyone else there he to learn the songs he knew them 'cause he knew them. --While Marty and JD cleared the air concerning all that (as did JD and others, I believe) it was a huge thing at the time. (I believe it was initially meant as a joke anyhow.)

I think its from when JD was all like "I know these songs... (referring to INXS songs) everyone else up here is just learning them" and Marty pulled him aside backstage and verbally bitchslapped him ... in the most gentlemanly way of course. oooh Marty was PISSED! it was awesome.
... god i was hoping for a mudwrestling match...

I like the way you say it better, conducted! "...Verbally bitchslapped him...in the most gentlemanly way of course" (I too wouldn't have minded a mudwrestling match either.) ;D

Oh gawd...
Does every thread about MC have to turn into a 'gush-fest'?
Um... Brooke Burke, Rachel Bilson <too fine>, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jaclyn Smith, Nicole Kiddman, etc...
That was just to reverse the estrogen energy that is so prominent on this board...

Aw shucks gdm3 . . . seems to me you might be lost . . . the beautifulladies.org website is . . . . that way And since I know you won't ask for directions, it's around the corner, a couple of clicks to the right then due south. But I'm hopin' you'll keep hangin' with us - we need to hold on to our few brave, heroic men who boldly dare to go where others fear to tread . . . ;D

(Just so long as there's a JD/Marty mud smack-down for us girls.) ;D

Interesting. Wouldnt it be cool if Marty joined INXS on stage for a song during the upcoming tour?

Hey, if Marty and JD did get into a fight, who do you think would win? --My money's on Marty for the sole reason that if JD started fighting dirty the rest of the Lovehammers would jump in and crack JD wide open...I doubt the other INXS members would join the fray for anything. ;D

I thought that "World War III with J.D." was a reference to the songwriting clinic, when J.D. didn't play well with others and sulked off to write "Pretty Vegas". During the pre-performance discussion the next night (the night Marty did "Hit Me Baby"), J.D. was slagging everyone including Marty and basically called the song that Marty/Jordis/Jessica wrote "shitty". Then Marty subtly accused J.D. of plagiarizing "Strangest Party" (and I agree with him, btw)... etc. Sorry for the play-by-play, but I have that episode on tape and I've watched it many times. Marty was obviously trying not to get down in the mud with J.D. and did an admirable job of retaining his composure, but he looked like he was oh, so close to taking Fortune Boy down. I LOVED it! (Garry Gary Beers seemed to be loving it too.)

Wow, I missed SOOOOOOOOO much RS INXS that my heart is in my stomach!! Like I said, what I have seen is Jordis, Suzie, Mig, JD and Marty were left. And I only saw one episode at the mansion. I cannot WAIT until the 6th of December when it HOPEFULLY is released on DVD.

I missed a few of the first weeks when I was on vacation (no tv in the mountains) and then in the hospital for another week having surgery(morphine!). I hope it comes out on DVD too. I can't get enough!

HAHAHA YOU'RE RIGHT!!!! i'm just remembering that shot of Marty holding the guitar and being all calm and respectful... and at the same time... the look on his face like he was just gonna haul off and bludgeon JD with it... PRICELESS! but i don't remember the GGB's reaction... i'm pretty sure he was sleeping through it ... pshaw... it must be tiring to be that awesome.
