I saw him in it in person, and real close up, while he was signing my CD insert. (See avatar.) It's a tuxedo shirt, and the pink part was stiff. (heh heh...!....) Thus it gapped open when he moved. After a while, he had the shirt untucked, or it came untucked while he was doing the Q&A session while INXS was deliberating. He took off and put back on the suspenders several times, too. It's so awesome that you got to see him up close (with his shirt gaping). ;D It's so hard to choose a favourite Marty look. He always looks great. I guess I'd have to pick the "Take Me Out" ensemble. Very sharp. I loved his look the night he was in the bottom three. He was looking so casual and laid back and then he took off his jacket and kicked ass on that song. He didn't need a rockstar outfit, he was killer in just a t-shirt and khakis. I also love it when he wears his belt with the buckle on the side. It makes me think it must be because his pants are so low, he'd do some damage if he bent over with his belt buckle in front. Wouldn't want him to hurt himself.  |

 Ok not only is the outfit HOT but Marty is absolutely smokin' HOT during this performance. This outfit and TREES/Everlong outfits do me in everytime. Especially when he's doing the bendy thing....Lawd Have Mercy! Then there is Don't Change No 1 which Ill post in a minute. Marty shows us that belly and I turn to mush. |

I know tons of girls that would love to have that Mr. Howard! Thanks for posting that yummy pic.  I would love to have a Trash Vaudeville t-shirt (preferrably Marty's), but if I wore it I'd be disappointed everytime I looked down and saw my belly instead of Marty's.  I love Marty's belly. EDITED TO ADD: Marty was stylin' before RSINXS too.  I'm particularly fond of the minimalist approach he took here. Less is more. ;D  |

Penny, thanks for posting those photos. I've never seen the third one before. I must have missed the episode where he wore that shirt. He looks so good in white. Speaking of white, Marty totally knows how to work the white belt. He actually inspired me to buy one. I wear it with black pants... which I never would have done before... and I love it! |

I think it was about half and half...when they review Marty's clothes on the fashion page of the MSN RS:INXS site they usually mention at least a few pieces that are from Marty or made for him by a "friend" (the All Star shoes, some belts, etc).

Oh yeah, tookskye, this one is my favorite: The moment Marty found out what song he was going to perform, he never changed his clothes. He's wearing a denim military shirt with embroidered navy roses and silver rose shape buttons with black velvet trousers by Cosa Nostra. Marty's wearing his own socks. |

Sorry...just couldn't stop...Really dig this outfit too!   (You know, everytime I try to immulate Marty's style I get the most compliments, I feel most comfortable in his rock style-type clothes too...naturally I've been immulating Marty's style quite often now. ) YES! This is my personal fave. I am a sucker for fedoras. I collect them. No one wears a fedora like Marty! ANd just the whole outfit is killer! Marty is the most stylish man I have seen since Bowie and Sting.He has got class and that is really fresh to me. Reminds me of the glamorous men of the silver screen. |
