Hey guys, I'll buy the PV CD, I actually don't mind the song, and anything to give a few bucks to Marty and Jordis! Am really hanging out to buy TREES tho, I am intending to buy around a dozen copies to give to my friends who still don't understand why I am so hooked on MARTY. I actually like the INXS video of PV and can even admit to being able to tolerate JD now that he is no longer in competition with our Peachy Lord!

Woke today, turned on VH1 and the Pretty Vegas video was...gotta admit, I thought it was "pretty" exciting. ;D

Woke today, turned on VH1 and the Pretty Vegas video was...gotta admit, I thought it was "pretty" exciting. ;D Yeah, it's not bad. I saw it on a Canadian entertainment show last week. I tuned in to the show because the promos were heavily featuring RSINXS and the upcoming world tour, so I thought, they're definitely going to show Marty. There was no mention of Marty or the Lovehammers, though. I guess it's a Canadian bias. They're only supporting JD. Even when RSINXS was airing, all the commercials featured JD and urged people to tune in and support the Canadian guy. Damn Canadians.   |

Pretty Vegas was on the VH1 Top 20 Countdown last night for the first time in at #20. I saw that Sunday morning too. It'll be interesting to see how far it climbs. I think the video is pretty good. It really firms it up for me that JD was the better choice to front INXS. His dark look goes well with them. I just couldn't imagine Marty in that video. I think that doing the Trees video done as live performance is definitely the way to go. In the afternoon I got a call from my daughter. She was at a Barnes & Noble in Manhattan and JD was there (I guess to sign CDs). She asked if I wanted her to get his autograph, but I passed. |

Just saw that today (early Tues am)...I'm presuming that this is the same countdown repeating (not a new one with no movement from INXS). Gotta admit I'm sorta happy for the boys - just so long as the Tree's vid comes to VH1 and hits #1 (or at least go higher than them ;D). (- Which reminds, best wishes of fun and insanity to all those going to the filming of the Trees music video a the Metro.)  |

I saw the PV video just the other day. I think it was good but it wasn't exciting or interesting enough to make me want to see it again. I mean, it was like some of the old INXS videos (which they were showing on STAR while RS1 was still on primetime). Nothing new, really. But then I guess that's what the band wanted: to bring back the past. Oh well...

I saw that the PV video was #16 this week on VH-1. There is a publicity push now that the album is coming out tomorrow. Will the same happen for the Trees single/video? The album isn't coming out till the end of Jan. LH aren't even listed on Epic's website yet. They need to start getting some pre publicity out there.

So much of your success in the music biz depends on your label getting behind you and promoting you. So we'll have to see how much Epic gets behind our guys. I thought I read that the band were returning to L.A. this week to do a photoshoot for the album. I wonder if getting that done and having some new publicity photos to "introduce" the boys to the world might be the beginning of getting the balling rolling on Epic's site? They clearly took some new photos of Jordis before her Epic-created site went up. Just a thought. |

saw inxs' pretty vegas on malaysian tv today, the radio stations have been playing that song too...but got to say, it is not that pretty....Trees will do much better here in malaysia  |

they just started showing PV on Star TV here yesterday and now I have already seen it 4 times. Video is pretty good, but I can't see myself buying it -- not even cause MC has a bit of credit... does that make me evil?

Just finished watching INXS on The View and I am pissed off. I will have to go visit many Marty pictures to calm down.
I'm not pissed at JD-I thought he handled himself well.
I'm not pissed that they didn't mention the Lovehammers-I don't think they want to call attention to the fact that the LH will outshine them.
I'm not pissed at how bad they sounded-It was a technical issue. The balance was off. JD sung the heck out of the song.
I am pissed because cute little Elisabeth (I think that's her name) introduced JD as the lead singer that America voted for. Is she in bizzaro America and I didn't get the memo?
Marty was the one who consistently was at the top. JD made a few final 3 visits. Marty made 1 appearance. (with a freak phone problem over half the country--I am sure)
Marty was the only one safe out of the final four. I would say he got the most votes during America's last vote. A science teacher would say that is a logical conclusion.
Dang..now I've got to go visit Marty pictures again.

Watched the View as well....the interview was nice and I thought JD handled it very well. I do love the Farris brothers, Gary and Kirk and I really want INXS to do well. Obviously Elizabeth didn't have a good fact checker. I noticed the audience didn't seem to have a lot of crazy fans like you would normally see if one of the American Idol contestants were on. Also saw there wasn't that big of turn out for the autograph session at Towers yesterday in NYC. Don't know if this is because RS didn't have high ratings.
