Cool, pines. I'll have to wait for the dvd. I don't have episodes taped. But I'd probably read the discussion. I edited this to say "wait for the highlights dvd." I can't afford the whole shbang either. same here.  Can't afford the outrageous amounts people want on ebay. Have no Tivo or DVR- YET. Will definitely get one asap. Who knows when that will be.  I will read the thread too. |

Ok the cd title/cover submission is done...so let's get this back on track. How about we do this Monday morning coming up? I am pretty sure I can post something Sunday night to start the first one off. So people, if you have the episodes....watch the first week (arrival at mansion) and first performance (Marty does You Really Got Me), first elmination (Dana), next performance (Marty does Take Me Out) and then the elimination (Wil).

Yes, it's possible to get all of Rockstar on DVD. I have ordered mine and hope it arrives tomorrow. I paid $27 total for the plain set. There is also a fancier set for $40, but I was told from others that the plain set is fine and all we need. Anyone wanting more info are welcome to contact me by e-mail at saintbernard@webtv.net.. I can let you know more when it arrives.

Me!!!!! All the videos are still on the Rockstar site so everyone should be able to access them. As a #1 JD fan and a #2 Marty fan, I started this topic on the Davesboa's Place site. I started out with week 1 and made my top 3 choices with short comments. I ended up with 26 replies. I will shortly start for week 2. If you decide to go ahead here, please let me know as I want to participate and I don't check here every day. Hiya barbara! I just want to say it's nice to see a JD fan on here. Marty's definitely #1 in my books, but it's cool to see that some people love them both. I was just commenting on here yesterday that just because you're a fan of one artist, you don't have to put the other artists down. You're an excellent example of that sentiment. I'm looking forward to discussing the episodes with you and everyone else.  I agree with Julianah! That's great that you will be here Barbara...this is going to be a lot of fun! I have everything on VHS (no TiVo!) from week 3 on. So it'll be really cool to hear what y'all have for 1&2. Looking forward to this!  |

I'm another techno-slowpoke on VHS & I only started paying attention the week of the double elimination (& I didn't really notice Marty until Hit Me Baby One More time).
