RS:INXS - Jordis update

Looks like Epic/Sony has put up an "official" website for Jordis. Check it out:

There's not a lot there yet, but you can hear a portion of a studio version of "Try Not" on this site. "Try Not" was the original song she performed on the show that she wrote with help from Marty. Apparently, if you join the mailing list, you'll have access to a full-length version of the song. It's arranged differently than it was on the show.

Yay! She was my second fave singer...she's got such an amazing voice - gotta admit to a bit of a girl-crush on her ;D. I also thought it was great that she was my age.

...I love this version of "Try Not" even better than the first, I pressume that this is what she wanted the song to be before the houseband changed it (though, I should say, I love the houseband and their version of the song, and that the changes they made were appropriate for the show and contest).

I like the new version. Very pretty. Jordis was the one who got me hooked on the show initially and I would definitely buy her album. (and I had a bit of a girlcrush myself!)

I also really liked Jordis. With Marty helping write her album (according to some stuff he's said in interviews), I imagine it will be very good.

The first few shows, of RS:INXS, Jordis was my absolute favorite...until... Marty had sung I Alone and Don't Change.

I'm so glad that Jordis is doing very well.
I still love Jordis voice and I can't wait for her debut album to come out.

Thanks so much for the link. I loved the studio version of "Try Not". Jordis has such a beautifyl/unqiue voice. I can't wait to hear her album. And I'm still hoping for a Lovehammers/Jordis tour since they're on the same label.

I absolutely adore Jordis, can't wait for her new album to come out, she is going to be huge.
She has such a unique voice and is another one from RS INXS that I felt was really genuine, just like Marty.

wow, she sounds amazing! i love how "try not" sounds & can't wait to hear what else she's recorded. it'll be cool to hear more of her collaborations with marty. i was glad she was given her chance to fly solo -- i think/hope she'll be really successful, in a norah jones kinda of way. i wonder when sony/epic will give marty & the lovehammers a website?
