I just posted this on LH.com also.
Don't know if anyone else has posted this on another thread. I just happened to catch that INXS would be performing on the "Big in '05" awards show on VH1. (Sunday, Dec. 4 at 8 pm) I went to the website and it gives specifics.
Incidently, there is a spot on the main page of the site (under Spotlight) with their photo and the text "INXS: Hear Music First. The Aussie pop vets are back with a new singer. Does he cut it? Listen to Switch" then it takes you to the page where you can listen to the album.
Someone else on LH.com said that she thinks it's Suzie's voice on one of the songs. Someone had posted the liner notes here that showed both Suzie and Deanna on the album. Haven't heard it yet.

Hey rockbeast, Just curious why you like Suzie, voice, sex appeal, what? I found absolutely nothing to like about her at all, even her voice didn't seem to have anything special about it. Maybe it's just a girl thing that I couldn't get into her. Sorry for being nosey  Cheers, Helen.  |

I'm a girl and all.. as my name suggests...if 30 is still a "girl"
Anyway I digress.. I liked Suzie. She was quirky and did a killer rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody. I can't speak for Rockbeast, but I thought she an awesome vocal talent.
However, her tears at being the last woman standing combined with her tears every other weak combined with constantly taking abuse from JD made it hard to take her seriously.
This is not at all to be interpreted as arguing or anything. There were people I couldn't get into on the show. Heck, I didn't even like Marty til Mr. Brightside and look at me now. I'm such a bandwagon gal.

Interesting observation...being at a lot of the show tapings, and standing near Suzie a lot - she has the most amazing voice & range! She's absolutely beautiful...even more so in person. Jordis as well. The clips of Suzie didn't do her justice, really, from what I saw in person. Really it was the same with all of them, even J.D. The controversary was way over the top compared to actual reality, at least from my observation. Sure, it was there a little...but the show definitely played it up. |

I was really impressed with Suzie singing her original song on the radio here in Toronto (CjumFM). It had a really bluesy sound and her voice sounded much more original than it sounded on the show.
