I kind of hope LH do their meet and greet after their set so I can go meet them and miss some of the JD show -- I am not sure how I will deal with it. Sounds dumb, i realize, but I saw INXS twice -- once on their first tour of US (the minor hit was Original Sin) and later in HK, where MH went to school. Both were a blast and he was fantastic. i hope so too even if they dont i'm leaving after the LH are done and your so lucky you got see the real Inxs in concert i really wish i could have just seen them once |

well, I also feel for the other members. I mean, why should five guys give up their careers and passion cause the 6th guy was into weird sex? it's a no win situation.

well, I also feel for the other members. I mean, why should five guys give up their careers and passion cause the 6th guy was into weird sex? it's a no win situation. I feel exactly the same way chk, I never doubted their choice to get a full band back together, I admit when I first saw Rockstar was on that I thought it would be crap and didn't watch it (until I saw the gorgeous MC sing "Mr Brightside" oooohhhhhh!), but the fact is that the band itself didn't choose to disband, just their lead singer decided to "check out". |

hi sandra, just got the dvd as early xmas pressie from extremely indulgent hubby and son. I think it's okay. Has nice performance clips -- more of jd and marty than others. The extras are okay too -- scenes w/MC we haven't seen before. Also included is the mini concert that JD/INXS did after finale. Now this might seem weird, but I tell ya, I waited til last to watch the concert cause I just didn't want to see JD singing INXS tunes and honestly I got quite emotional watching the 1st song. it made me realize how much I loved Michael H. Okay then second song is Never Tear Us Aprat and JD (sweetly, really) takes mike and goes to other rockers and has them sing the lyrics. Marty sings the line "I'd make wine from your tears" and it is SOOO BEAUTIFUL and sounds SO PERFECT that I instantly thought he should have won. No kidding. I know we're all hammerheads and we're happy with second place. But damn, that sounds good. Also, when JD sings Don't Change he doesn't EVEN TRY to hit the big notes at the end. It's unbelievable. Anyway, get it so you can hear Marty sing one line of a song, talk some more in the behind the scenese stuff and walk around in his undies at JD's birthday bash. Also his audition tape is hysterical -- he looks bizarre! I got the RS INXS dvd for Christmas and watched it last night for the first time. You are so right about "Don't Change". JD made a great song really bad. He could not touch Marty in the way he sang it. I was cringing as JD sang that song. Only Marty can sing it right. I loved that part too when Marty sang "i will make wine from your tears". He made that song so sexy sounding. Overall, I enjoyed watching the video, especially all the Marty parts and other non JD stuff. ;D |

Hi all, OK, I'm really getting p*ssed off with this whole RS:INXS merchandise thing!  INXS is an Aussie band, but we didn't get RS:INXS on free to air TV in OZ, we don't get the RS:INXS DVD released in Australia, we have to buy it off ebay or Amazon.com etc, we get no Lovehammers stuff released in Australia not even their new CD in January yet many Aussies know Marty through watching RS:INXS, WTF is it with Epic/Sony and ignoring Australia. You would think with INXS being an Oz band we would get some sort of deal with being able to buy the merchandise but as usual we are ignored, I have emailed Epic/Sony many times and they don't even reply to emails. Don't they realise they are losing one of their biggest markets by not releasing the stuff down under. OK, sorry for venting my frustration here but it just seems really stupid to ignore one of their potentially biggest fan bases.  Thank God for friends in the USA who kindly help me out with getting hold of what I want.  Cheers, Helen.  |

The whole Rock Star group has become like a member of my family.
I enjoy each and every song. Of course, Marty is the favorite, but I still like them all!!!
Just wish they had another CD that i could listen to.
