OK guys, Please tell me someone else just watched The Road to Rockstar on Fox8 in Oz. We got to see bits of Marty from RS INXS and heaps of interviews with Mig, the show was pretty cool.  It was all the auditions from Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney some good some not so good, its back on Monday night at 8.30 pm with more auditions sent thru by hopefuls via video and then the USA dudes have come to Oz to narrow down the Aussie finalists. You got to see Molly Meldrum pulling some amazing weird faces at some of the hopefuls. None of the Aussie finalists is anywhere near a MARTY CASEY but there are a few standouts. I wish I had taped it, it was so good seeing Marty back on RS INXS and as one of the final 3. I just love seeing him on the TV Anyway, don't forget to watch the next episode on Monday night at 8.30 pm AEST. Cheers, Hel  |

I really miss Rock Star and will be anxiously waiting for July. American Idol is so lame. Sometimes someone comes along like Constantine and Chris, but they are few and far between. And I really enjoyed the mansion scenes. Gave you a good perspective of how they all were such good friends. Will we have a thread for Rock Star? ?? Jean |

Jean, the picture you used for your avatar stops me dead in my tracks. And I think it makes it clear why Marty should stay blonde!
Anyway, since RS:2 is starting on July 5, I assume that means MC & LH will be out in LA taping sometime in the next four months, since Marty said he will be a guest judge and LH will be performing. I hope the fans in CA get some advance notice about that!

Did anyone see the commercial for RSII during Survivor last night? It showed a lot of RSI contestents, but I didn't see Marty  Can't wait to see him and LH on the show this summer! |

Me too GE! A little national television exposure for the Lovehammers may be just the thing. Hopefully they will get to play an original in one of Marty's two guest appearances.

I saw the commercial ... I think there was a bit at the beginning of Marty singing "Lithium" ... I heard the "yeaaaah, yeah, yeah, yeah" part in the background.
Marty said in his Sisters interview that he would be guest judging on an episode and that the LH would be performing.

Bonus if LH actually performs.......a real treat and imagine the exposure to millions on that type of media.........as powerful or more than a concert in my opinion........... by the way..........I'm thinking of getting the stiletto graphic below tatooed on my arm...........what'cha think?  |

I got my "start" with RS:INXS on the board TWoP. The board was fantastic and earned quite a reputation with the industry executives. They watched the board for feedback on the show - we know because of their comments to the live audience at the show tapings. We have a "mystery" exec. posting this year. Here is what s/he has to say:
As to this person's identity....my best guess is David Goffin, one of the show's producers who was very active last year with the internet community.
