I'm just curious if there's anyone here who has not seen Rock Star INXS and have become a fan of Marty/Lovehammers post-that show.

It's ok, hot4bob! There's plenty of love to go all around here!
I did watch RockStar, because I had been an INXS fan back in the day, and that's how I found out about the Lovehammers. However, Marty caught me at Lithium and I've been in luuuurve with him ever since!

I was voting for Ty until either Wish you Were Here or Creep (whichever came first) - then it was Marty, Marty, Marty --- Then, when I heard the MOMM CD and saw the Lovehammers concert in Lincoln City - and learned more about the whole band - well - now I'm just not satisfied with Just One!!! All 4 fellas Rock my World!!

I didn't only have ears for Marty when the show was ongoing. I definitely spread my votes around.

I was a Marty girl ALL THE WAY (beginning the 3rd week, of course). I am just embarrassed to say that I hadn't heard of the Lovehammers before the show even though I live in Chicago. Please don't shoot me. Keep in mind that I didn't move here unitl 1998.

I never even watch TV, but was going on vacation with my sister (the f*cking QUEEN of reality TV), and she made me watch RSINXS during Week 3. She was all about JD, and kept telling me about him and how great he was. Well, this was probably JD's WORST week!! (We Are The Champions). When Marty came out, I said, "Who's this guy?" and she said, "Oh, he's OK, nothing special." Well, he did Lithium, and absolutely blew me away!!! Even my sister said, "Well, that's the best HE'S ever done!" That was it for me--I was hooked!! From that moment on, I knew I was onto something very, very special! My sis continued to like JD, and by the end of the show, I had to agree he was the best fit for INXS. (I had by that time discovered the Lovehammers).

my Mom kept harassing me every week, "Have you watched Rockstar? Oh, you'd like it, it's the kind of music you like, " etc etc. So of course I was NOT going to watch. Then one Saturday in late August, early Sept, I was flipping through the channels, and found reruns from the previous weeks on one of the cable channels I normally don't watch. And there HE was. That was it. I had to watch every week after that. I still blame/thank my mother She wasn't able to come across the state for the concert, but Marty was gracious enough,(as he always is) to personalize an autograph to her on my concert ticket. I had the post office insure it when I sent it to her. The postal lady thought I was slightly off I think.

Got into RS in week 7 ("I Alone"). When Marty first came out in his Marine on Kool-Aid ensemble, I thought, "Well, this guy is either really weird or he's really good." He was charismatic, elegant and beautiful, but when he jumped six feet in the air before the second chorus, that's when I was convinced that he was the real deal, and I was hooked from that point on. I'm just sorry I missed all the earlier shows and didn't tape everything.

I wasn't going to watch RSINXS either because I'm not really an INXS fan, but tuned in anyway. I was really glad I did because I was hooked the first week because of one Mr. Marty Casey. I thought he was awesome from the beginning and voted every week. I am now a huge fan of Marty Casey and Lovehammers. Thanks Lovehammers for the great ride so far!!!

I started watching RSINXS about half way through the series because my sis suggested it and the show I usually watch was only airing reruns. After seeing the 1st show, I was hooked on Marty to the end. Then I found this board, and the rest is history

I had it marked on my calendar weeks before it aired. But I don't think I was quite prepared for the blonde dynamo that would come crashing in and steal our hearts away forever the very first night!! ::)Marty and Mig were mine and my daughters favorites from the first night. It pretty much stayed that way the whole season, even though I also enjoyed Jordis and Neal. Towards the end I really liked Suzie and yes, even JD. The last three standing is exactly how I thought it should be, and INXS's choice right on the money.

I am not an INXS fan, so I was not interested at first in watching RS:INXS. When I turned the TV on, and this guy was about to sing Lithium, I was not paying much attention because I was texting, and when he started to sing, I can't help but stare at the TV... at first I was like, "OMG, he sounded like Kurt Cobain" (Kurt is my first love). After he sang, I was like, "I am in love" LOL. He really got me hooked in watching RS:INXS ... and I can't get him out of my mind since....
