According to the website that we all in LA get our tickets from the guy who is in INXs now after last year's show is the guest judge on the show that will air next Tuesday. Gag! Ick! Argh! Am I going to be able to sit thru that show? Hey, cjspas, loved the way you tiptoed around having to actually name that person.

Well, I am so surprised that Supernova sent Chris home tonight instead of Zayra. Did anyone liked her second performance of that song she sang?
I thought it was a little better but still awful. This girl does not rock a bit and is definitely not the right person for Supernova. Ok one more week, looking at her grinning face and then it is over.

Ok, I was not a fan of Chris, but Z-chick should have gone! Please let her leave next week!

Aw, crap. I didn't mean to blow the ending for myself. I forgot about the time difference!! Anyway, I'm so bored with this group compared to last year.
Phil has bugged me from the very beginning, and now I dislike him even more now that my friend from Ocean City told me that she used to be friends with him and that he's a punk. Besides that, he tries to sound like Jeff Buckley, who I loved so much. Faker! Wannabe!
Satan girl is interesting to watch, but her voice is gnarly as hell. They always do those dramatic close-ups on her face, but she doesn't bring it. Not like Marty did, of course, with the hypnotic eyes and such.
The Atlanta girl embarrassed herself when she bragged about her fishnet stockings and headbanging. It's like watching Barbie playing dress-up as a rockstar.
Jill killed me last night, for sure. The costume, the voice, the performance altogether. It was like watching Cheri O'Teri from SNL spoofing Courtney Love.
My husband thinks Toby is going to take it in the end, but I don't know. I'm not really into his voice, and he doesn't seem like a good fit for the band.
Josh needed to quit smiling so much during his performance. Gosh. It's ROOOOOCK, babe. Not Sesame Street.
Lukas is it for me. Yeah he's cocky, but he seems very passionate. Like he lives and breathes music, and I so appreciate that about him. I can see him fronting SuperNova, totally.
Oh, and CHRIS?!?! Hell no. He butchered Take Me Out, and it made me miss Marty in a crazy way.
Whoever called Ryan Star looking like David Blaine was right on!
I'm a mean commentator. I feel bad.

This show is definitely boring compared to last year. The talent just isn't there . Toby, Lukas, and Storm are ok, but lack the charisma of last season's singers. None of them compare to Marty (especially in charisma and personality) and please why in the world did Chris have to sing, I mean totally butcher, Take Me Out? That was the song that captured my attention and started my fan love affair with Marty.
I'll probably watch out of curiosity, but I just don't see it this year talent-wise. Also, the judges are harsh this time around. Not very tactful at all.

Zayra should've gone home, not Chris. Although Chris would've been living on borrowed time, he nailed his song tonight. That should've saved him. But all three in the bottom deserved to be there from last night's performances. I'm just distraught that I have another week of Zayra screeching.

Well............two weeks have passed.........and two rockers are gone...... What can you say about the show?? They certainly aren't INXS with the judging are they........he he........a lot more straight forward and to the point. Some of the commentary lacked tact but how much tact can you expect.........they want the right person for their band.......and they want to make sure everyone of them understands what they need.......... I think that Z girl should have gone.........she just does not belong there.........maybe a Celine Dion concert..... I knew Chris would have to go eventually but I was hoping it wouldn't be Z chosen over him......that just doesn't seem right.........he took it like a man though.........props to him for that........... I think Jill totally redeemed herself........but I don't think she is for Supernova........I think she would be more suited to a solo act. Not sure why but I think Dilana will be around for awhile........can she sing?? She reminds me of one of the witches from the show H.R. PuffnStuff........if anyone remembers that show........(am I dating myself?) Here is my early prediction as to who the last three will be........everyone else will be asked to leave....... Dilana (no idea why) Lukas (he seems to be focused enough.......bold and humble at the same time........and he can sing and perform) Toby (raw natural talent....what you see seems to be what you get) Right now my money is on Toby....he is the only one so far to compare to last year's finalists..........in my humble opinion.

mcmaniac- you captured my thoughts exactly- I just couldn't for the life of me drag the word "charisma" from my mind. That is definitely lacking in a big way with most of this years group. Marty, JD, Mig, Suzie, Jordis, and Deanna all have charismatic personalities, and are enjoyable to watch because of it. Marty is both a rocker and a performance artist which is what really got me into the LHs in the first place. So far, I'm not interested in seeing anything any of the new rockers were doing before- I visited Jordis and Marty's sites almost immediately to learn more about them.

I'm totally surprised that the band kept Zayra on for another week...maybe they just want to crack up one more time... ;D Chris' performance was very respectable (tonight) unlike last nights fiasco.....Marty is the master of Take Me Out...the bar has been raised too high for these rockers... Toby is my fave...but this year seems to lack a lot of what last year had. I haven't been moved, I've gotten no chills, my hair hasn't stood up on my arms yet, I haven't been riveted or hypnotized and I could go on. Only Marty does all that and more

(before the elimination)
well I don't even need to see the announcement to know it MUST be Zayra that goes home. Jill KILLED it...& Chris, although unoriginal, at least showed a better performance than Zayra & it was his best so far. Zayra's attitude & body language is hysterical - she is not even attempting to hide her animosity. What a lamea** for singing the same song...
*******time passes by********* well I'm shocked! Chris does bug & I thought he would be soon to go, but out of those 3, I can't believe Zayra is still here. Maybe they want her around for the controversy & comical aspect. Tonight's version of her song was better than last night's but it STILL sucked. IMO.
oh well, c'est la vie. Does anyone else notice that they're all kinda in their own world, too? Like when the bottom 3 were standing there was no holding hands or arms around each other in support, like last year. Just weird. Zayra couldn't have looked more perturbed when she saw how great Jill's performance was...she was scared.
Another hour of my life, gone... LOL
& where the hell was Slash!!?!?!??!

I thought Chris was so much better than Zayra, and I love that Tonic song(don't kill me! Even someone as young as me can have nostalgia) and Zayra just annoys the hell out of me.
Jill rocked that song. I wasn't surprised in the least that they liked her the best. I thought it was funny how pissed Zayra looked watching her.
When does Zayra go home? Jeez...

I though that it should have been Zayra who was sent home. Chris did much much much better then her and didn't deserve to be booted off. Zayra needs to leave soon.

Well I guess I really didn't want to see this show. I set the VCR but forgot to turn off the power so nothing taped. Thanks for the recaps all!
