Ok.. so I really thought last night's episode was kind of blah..
I thought Toby did well w/ what he had to work with.
The reasons for my dislike of Lukas were made evident to all who watched last night. (Ok.. so maybe you didn't notice the tie.) He did handle himself alright in the face of Dilana's umm issues.
Dilana-Remember that I didn't like her from day one.. which for me was less than 2 weeks ago.
Patrice-She handled it well.. I'm not sorry she's gone.
Magni-I love him. I keep waiting for him to blow me away.

Hey all, Elimination ep just finished on Oz TV. AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OY OY OY Toby got to sing with SN. Altho not the best song but I thought he did a great job with the House Band. I can't believe he was in the bottom 3 with Magni & Patrice. How easy was it for the boys to pick who was goin' home? Glad Patrice has gone, she really never did it for me at all and I just tuned out when she performed cause I actually couldn't stand her at all. (Sorry!) Magni did a great job with his song, always does and shouldn't be in the bottom 3 either. Dilana, the real Dilana has finally shown, I haven't liked her much from day one and now I think she has actually sealed her fate and won't win after her comments. I think Storm will be the next to go. Looking forward to next weeks eps as Brooke said something about it being the 'viewers choice' shows next week, what did that mean? Do we get to chose who to kick out, that would be cool!  I missed Chopper tonight  Cheers, Helen.  |

I actually liked the song from SN last night. Toby did great with it too.... I just wish he had taken his shirt off like he did the night before.  I have yet to watch the reality episode so I was shocked to see how Dilana was acting. WOW! Is it just me or is she getting kinda bitchy? I am still a fan but all that attitude makes it hard for me to love her as much as I did in the beginning. Maybe she has PMS. Lukas, PLEASE stand up straight when you sing and for God's sake, turn around (although his back side is easier on the eyes than his front). Bye Patrice... no love lost. |

It's funny when someone practices self-sabotage. Dilana is blowing it. Not only am I disappointed in her limited musical range, it now seems that she is a first-class b*tch. I don't believe that she didn't know how her comments would come across. And she looks less and less like a punk Cinderella and more and more like the wicked stepmother ...
Much to my surprise, Toby and Ryan are both growing on me. While neither has totally blown me away yet, they also haven't made any major mistakes. As far as Magni is concerned, "Fire" isn't a great vocal song ... and the shaved head just doesn't work for me with this band. I'd like to see what he looks like with a little hair. Storm's Macho Mamma thing seems forced to me.

This week they did a press junket clinic and, like last year, they had reporters asking them probing questions trying to get the rockers to dish the dirt. Dilana, in an effort to drive home the fact that she's the best person for the gig, proceeded to throw the rest of the rockers under the bus by saying negative things about them. What she did was beyond wrong and I call  on her answer to SN & PPoD last night of "I'm too honest." Lie!!!! She was doing it to make herself look better. I've lost respect for her. She seemed real, genuine, and down to earth in the beginning, but now her ego has gotten the best of her and we're seeing the real Dilana. What a shame. |

Self Sabotage...good call Wendy...I wonder if maybe Dilana doesn't care for SN's music so she's trying to be eliminated...who knows but whatever it is she's lost my vote. Toby sold me last night as I think he was the only good thing about SN's new song...he was definitely roit for them last night...let's see what he does next...Interesting reading everyone!!! I agree with many though on the fact that...IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME WITHOUT MARTY!

Okay its time to remember , He who is without sin cast the first stone. There are no saints in that house. Time for a chill pill on the Dilana bashing. She HOPEFULLY learned her lesson.
Read Dave Navarros blog at 6767 about Dilana and he even says its time to move on. Theres alot of growing up to do. I am so thankful that my every move isn't being taped for everyone to scrutinize.

If we all (or most of us) love Toby (and we are usually right about these things) Why does he keep landing in the bottom? I just don't get it. He is hot, he can sing, he is hot, SN seems to love him for the most part he interacts well with the audience and did I mention he is hot?. . I would pay to go see him live. I think we need a "Save Toby Campaign"!

Toby is starting to grow on me more as well. He did awesome last night. I don't like Dilana anymore. In fact, I'm tired of her. My current favs to make it to the finale are Toby, Magni and Lukas. Supernova tickets just went on pre-sale for my area yesterday. Kind of a bummer before we don't even know who we'd be seeing fronting the band! Well, it will give me a week to think about it anyway, since they weren't releasing any floor seat tickets yet during the pre-sale.

I wish I knew who Marty favored to win?? Marty, Billy, Amy and I had a very brief Supernova chat at the Louisville show back at the end of July. He liked Lukas then. I noticed in the interview in Toronto with Lisa Kerr (more recent) www.soulshine.ca/features/featuresarticle.php?fid=226 he says this: “I like Lukas, the Canadian, and the girl, it begins with a “D” (Dilana), I know those are the two hot tickets because everyone is talking about them. But I do also like the dude, Toby, I think he’s strong but I don’t know if he’s right for the band.” |

OXO Lucy Now that I think about it, I remember hearing rumors that Mark Burnett and his family are supposedly big MC fans ... and that TLee and MC are acquainted with each other. Hey, ya never know!  Well, my gal-pals declined the invite and I'm not comfortable traveling the 1.5 LIRR home after midnight by myself to see the show alone  ...soooo...IF there's the slightest hint of word/rumor that MCLH are opening act candidates, do keep us posted ~~ anyone, anyone? I think we need a "Save Toby Campaign"! I can explain from a 'down under' viewer and there are plenty of us in NZ and Australia. We get to see the elimination show at 8.30 pm. The show finishes at 9.30 pm. We ONLY HAVE A 2 HOUR WINDOW in which to vote before voting is closed. This is why Toby is always in the bottom 3 after the USA showing of elim show. It is because us "down under" don't get to see the show for about a day and a half after you guys. I sit for the 2 hours I have to vote and vote equally for Toby, Ryan and Magni. From now on I am just gonna vote for Toby and Magni as Ryan seems to have enough votes coming in from other parts of the world to need the 'down under' vote. Please guys in the USA, Canada etc, throw a few votes Toby's way, I would LOVE to see the final 3 of Toby, Ryan and Magni. Although I think Lukas will put one of them out. Cheers, Helen |
