I love that while you guys are sleeping I get to be the first to see the reality episodes. Hurrah for time zones!  Okay, this is a strange spisode --very emotional. It is so interesting how this Dilana thing is playing out. The most shocking thing of all is that she is only 34. I would have guessed older. Photo thing was weird. The photographer might be professional, but if he were any good, he'd make the subject comfortable in the shoot. Saying to Magni time and again "I don't like that" is not cool and not the way to get what you're looking for. The magazine editor/stylist should be in there helping. I'm just saying 'cause I know whereof I speak. Also, how come the setting for Lukas' pix was so cool and the pix looked so boring? They should have been grainy and grungy not tigerbeat. Songs -- I'm keeping an open mind. It'll be interesting. At this point they should all be good performances. okay, most of all I am dying cause we have just learned from Dave's blog that they have scrapped the idea for guest judges. If there's any Marty it'll be on the finale. I always knew deep down that the RS:S guys wouldn't let anyone else get a word in, but man it hurts to have it confirmed.  Off to drown my sorrows. Maybe I'll do like Dilana and put on my socks, sit on the window ledge and cry cry cry.... |

Ok.. I didn't realize it would be up this early..
Can I just say that I am LOVING all the guys at this point. They all handled the D. situation so well. How cute was Toby w/ the broom! And hopefully Magni will get sympathy votes. Lukas was very cool but Ryan just was so great w/ everyone. I can't really pick a favorite among Toby, Ryan, and Magni. They are all greatoff stage and onstage. Storm was really great w/ Dilana too. As for Dilana, I thought the house was extremely nice to her and I wondered how she got to be the injured one in all this. I went back mentally to the the whole "human being" discussion from last season.. Could you see MIG crying in the window or hurting other rockers even by accident?
Photo shoot-Ok.. the guy should have said..hmm Magni..the table is not working..let's try somewhere else.. his approach was horrible. Still, I bet the Magni shots will be hot. Everyone else, fine job.
Songs-It will be interesting to watch. I can't even predict a bottom 3.

As for Dilana, I thought the house was extremely nice to her and I wondered how she got to be the injured one in all this. DG I agree with you and was really surprised when Dilana said something along the lines of "all these things that have happened to me...have made me better". What?  I think it's less a case of things "happening" to her than her seeking out trouble. I don't mean to bash Dilana but to have said all those things and then think you've been victimised?  Even Lukas, who for some reason I don't like, appears almost angelic in this episode. I have thought all along that Dilana was the front runner for the band. Now I'm curious to see how all this off stage drama affects her standing. So much drama this time round - I love it! Re: the photo shoot, I think this is the first time Toby's worn a suit in the show?  Can't wait for the performances.... |

I'm not liking D at all....that whole, victim thing is not my style.
Poor Magni....that photographer was a hoot to watch...if you weren't the guy he was photographing, that is!!
I too thought Ryan was very cool in this ep.
Can't wait to see the show tomorrow night.

Oh I just want to add that I too wondered how Dilana could get away with "all that's happened to her" when it everything that she did...
that being said, to me the most touching sight was of Toby at the dinner after the performance show. He looked so hurt by Dilana's comments. He said something to the effect of "I don't know what is worse -- you saying those things or you feeling them in the first place."
Gotta say I was also impressed that Lukas, the guy she seemed to treat the worst, was the one sitting by her side!
as for Ryan -- my husband feels that every comment he makes, move he does, song he sings etc is calculated. For some reason hammerhubby is rubbed wrong way by Mr Star. Guess he didn't like that "back of your car" song!

My wish list for final 3 would be: Magni, Toby, and Ryan. I don't think it's going to happen though.

Hey DG, You and I are thinking the same mate!  I would love the final 3 to be Toby, Magni and Ryan but I am sure Lukas is gonna be there somewhere. I must admit from day one I never was a Lukas fan, I thought he was a bit of a brainless dill that was all glitter and make up. But I take it back. I honestly believe after this weeks reality show that he does genuinely care for other people, he thinks alot deeper than I gave him credit and in a crisis or sticky situation he handles things extremely well. I have alot more admiration for him now after the Dilana crap. I loved Toby's handling of the situation and Ryan was genuinely worried for Magni. Did ANYONE see Dilana actually apologize to Magni for her stupidity I realise they cut alot out but it would've been nice to know that she was woman enough to go say sorry for being such a jerk! That glass could've seriously injured someone. This episode I personally think has ended Dilana's chance at fronting the band once SN see what she did. And the way she has tried to twist it around to make her as the one that should be felt sorry for.  Dilana, your act doesn't fool anyone. Looking forward to the performance show and TOBY belting out Rebel Yell, I hope he does a great song justice. Good luck to them all. Cheers, Helen.  |

My final 3 pick would be Toby, Storm, and .... well, Magni I guess. I don't think i'd go to see any of them in concert though. Maybe one of the first two.

I was pretty surprised by this week's reality show. Dilana threw a glass, it smashed (gee, what a surprise ... it's a GLASS, for heaven's sake) and Magni's head got cut??? I don't give a damn how upset she was by receiving the much-deserved criticism, throwing a glass was idiotically childish. I'm over her. And I hope SN realizes that, if they choose her, she has the potential to be uncontrollable.
I thought Lukas stayed very cool through the whole thing. I don't know how much he really wants the gig, but he keeps his head.
This year's photo shoot wasn't as interesting as last year's, but maybe that's because I don't find the performers as interesting.

Just to clarify, Dilana did apologise to Magni --during that big breakdown in her room. You cannot see it, but you can hear her sobbing and saying she's sorry and him saying it's okay.

The performances were awesome!  Have texted voted for Toby and Magni. I can't get on the Rockstar website to vote Will keep on trying and hopefully the server will free up soon. |
