ah, me again! It's 3 in the afternoon here and I keep thinking of all you people dreaming of a cool reality episode. You're going to be sorely disappointed --at least I was.

First, that had to be the most boring food fight ever (that's right, once again last year's cast did it better.) When these guys jumped into the pool with their cake-covered clothes on I thought "EW! There's going to be bits of food floating in the pool!" I think the shower scene was much better last year and thanks to Shy we have little animated clips to prove it!



Second, yawn on the song writing clinic. Nothing too interesting there, but once again I am ASTOUNDED by Dilana. Her song is about saying up yours to the fans!?! Who does she thinks votes (voted) for her? That woman continues to throw a pity party for herself and I don't get it.
Toby and Storm seemed cool, I have a feeling it really is Lukas's competition to lose, however. Gilby can't fool me with that half-arsed critique of him.

Song selection -- omg NOW WE HAVE TO HEAR SOMEONE ELSE SING BRIGHTSIDE?! Honestly, I will be in tears by the time RS:SN is over. I can't tell who got it -- Toby or Storm... really don't care. All of the originals sound same ol same ol. How on earth is Storm going to get votes if every other word of her song is bleeped out by censors?

really looking forward to Lukas doing Bon Jovi (it should be amusing) and to hearing his original, wonder if I will be able to understand any of the words.

Dilana -- sooooooooooooo ooooooooooooover her. Good-bye already.

Storm -- not gonna dress like a chick, eh? Something not quite right bout this girl.

ha! I'm another one to benefit from the different time zone thing. I always like watching the reality episodes cos you can see more of the rockstars' personalities. I am aware though that the media does manipulate the audience with selective screening so everything has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

The problem with Dilana is that she can't see beyond herself. She is all about me, me, me. That doesn't help in songwriting or any other types of creative writing. To write well, you need to be an observer sometimes and be able to tap on the people and lives around you. Dilana's inability to do this is probably the reason why she remains stagnant in the competition whereas the other rockers have grown to varying degrees. In writing that song for SN, not only is it so not PC, she's alienating the very people who get to determine whether or not she stays on. The words that came out from her mouth, that she needs her fans and they need her - that really surprised me. After giving internet fans the finger and basically demonstrating that she doesn't need them, would the fans need her? There'll always be another rockstar down the road. Think, Dilana, think - the equation must be: rocker fans; and fans rocker.

I'm sorry if I've offended the Dilana fans out there. I used to be one of you. Keyword: used. Just IMHO and you are of course welcome to disagree.

Well, reading ya'lls reviews calmed me down a bit. Ryan gets sent home and Dilana is all "it wouldn't suck so much if I hadn't screwed up." I'm sure Ryan is thinking the same thing.

I like Lukas more each week. I really am starting to like his personality even if I don't like his singing at all. Living on a Prayer-should be interesting.

Magni-Hmmm.. He's such a good guy

Toby-gets better and better every week and he started out amazing. I can't wait to see what he has in store for this week.

I agree w/ my distinguished colleague from Hong Kong regarding Storm on both accts..her style of dress and her overuse of the censors.

I also am in total agreement with gaia regarding all things Dilana except that I was never a Dilana fan.

I just got done watching it last night, or early after midnight when it first went up. I wonder who gets to clean up the mess after the food fight? We never see the staff, but I guess it'd have to be a large one.
Gilby's comments about Lukas coming unprepared to the writing clinic, or bringing just enough to get by reminded me alot of when JD met up with Andrew last year for the writing clinic. Just hope it didn't hurt Lukas's chances any. Lukas seems alot more laid back and "nice" then he did at first. I want him to continue to do so well. And Toby! He's AWESOME!! Can't wait to hear their originals. I have a feeling I will be up voting all night tomorrow. It's really getting close now!

I loved this weeks webisode. I am really changing my attitude about Lukas. He has more talent than I originally thought. I still don't care for his voice ( I would If I could understand him) but he seems more laid back and genuine than previous weeks in the house. They seem to all be really getting along and really close now. Friends forever more than likely whatever the outcome. I have always loved Storm. I want to be her when I grow up
She rocks, always has. Lovin Toby and Magni. Dilana who I wanted to win seems lost in all this and has not stayed focused at all. Too self absorbed for sure. I cannot wait till Tuesday. I will vote like crazy again for Storm and Toby and maybe Lukas if he doesn't hurt JBJ too bad. I will give some votes Mags way too. Geez Louise last year was so cut and dry for me...it was all about power voting for Marty 200 plus each week ( at least ). I am struggling this year trying to find a good fit for the band.

ahem, ok, sorry, back to supernova. I like the reality episode this time. It had something that's been missing in the show. FUN. I went back and watched a bunch of RS:INXS from last season...they had a blast! Remember when MiG held that note forever and Dave was like, "dude, i was 17 when you started that note!" and then after Marty sang "baby one more time" dave was like, "dude, that made me really uncomfortable....because i dug it too!!"
then there were the INXS boys, bobbing their heads, and smiling big smiles and joking, etc. Where is all the fun this season? I mean, Jason is mr. Serious. Gilby, whom i like, is very mature. and of course Tommy and his "check please" (what the he** did that mean again?).

Hmm, i digress. Anyway, this week's episode should be good. I must say Toby's my absolute fave for the band -- he's the whole package. But i love Stormy too. I'd love to just hang out with her. I'd like to see Magni in the final three as well...he's got a great voice, nice personality.

On channel 9 on the TV show "A Current Affair" tonight (Tuesday), they are doing a special show and interviewing TOBY.

Hopefully this will get a few more Aussies watching the show and sending votes TOBY'S way.

I will tape it just incase they refer back to RS:INXS and Marty gets a mention.

The show ACA is on at 6.30 pm, then we can all switch to cable and watch the reality show at 7.30 pm on Fox 8.

Reality episode just aired here in Oz.
I really enjoyed this episode, alot more fun was had and we got to see more depth to a couple of the guys.

TOBY My fave from ep one and still my fave after this singwriting clinic. I think he blitzed it and Gilby really dug his style. He is such fun, always has a cheeky smile and seems to get on with EVERYONE!

STORM She surprised me tonight, Gilby seemed to like her song writing alot and she was very prepared. I have often said to myself is this really a female, somethings not quite right with her, she is too much like one of the boys but after she jumped in the pool with just her g string on I think that definitely she is a female. Not so sure about her original, if every other word is gonna be censored it isn't gonna come across too well on the TV.

MAGNI A little disappointed how under prepared he was with the song writing clinic, it didn't go down too well with Gilby. I will be interested to hear his own original song to see if Gilby thinks any better of him otherwise I think he might be outta here soon.

LUKAS He has the talent but sometimes doesn't seem to be quite prepared enough. A chorus and the verse, thats not really a song is it? I reckon his own original will probably rock and save him big time, I just hope I can understand a few of the words cause so far I have barely understood a thing he has sung even tho I like him for the person he is.

DILANA She is self destructing! Her song for the clinic sucked, fancy having a go at her fans! Then at the end of the show she says she needs her fans and her fans need her. WTF I am really hoping she is next to go. She is so one dimensional, she only sees herself and nobody else and when she stuffs up she finds someone or something else to blame. She would be a real disaster in more ways than one for SN.

Very much looking forward to the performance show tomorrow night. GO TOBY!!!!

The Aussie TV show that interviewed TOBY about RS:SN was good and very recent as he mentioned he is lucky to be one of the last 5. No mention of Marty just a short clip of JD with INXS

I really like Magni's voice, look and personality, but he would benefit from the dancing girls. He doesn't move very well. I wanted to take a barrette an pin back Lukas' hair, but after watching the VMA's he seems to fit well into today's music. Storm was good, but Toby was the best.

Ok.. I was crushed by Big Brother tonight, but tonight's RS did my heart good. The Cali girls did a great job describing it and I think I saw the wristbands, but I'm not sure.

Dilana-Liked the cover at first then she went into the same old same old. Blah.. put laundry in.

Magni-I love him.. I love him I do, I just don't think his performances are memorable.

Storm-LOVED HER.... Normally Storm is one of my least favorites but she did awesome. I thought the band overpowered her on Suffragette City, but she was entertaining. Her original was good and she sounded great.

Lukas-I like his personality. I even like watching him. I don't like his voice or music style so I went to add the fabric softener. (Sorry again Kimberly87)

Toby-Sigh Toby.. I liked Mr. Brightside. I thought it was fun and fluffy.. I really liked his original. He has a great voice, he's hot, and he is FUN... He's great.

Who should be safe? Storm and Toby


Now, here is what I would like to happen... Toby loses and forms a killer band w/ Magni as his guitarist. Storm (I can't believe I'm saying this) wins SN.

I loved Lukas tonight, but wow was that Emo. And I still can't understand a word he sings. I mean, I know the words to Livin on a Prayer (who doesn't) and I still couldn't tell what he was singing. Great performance tho.

Toby is completely fun. I voted for him to support my Aussie mates.

Storm killed it. I thought she was fantastic. Great Suffragette City, nice suit and hat, and really cool original. TLee was DIGGING it from the beginning!

Dilana - well, Dilana, my mother told me if you dont' have something nice to say don't say anything at all which brings me to Magni.
Sorry, ice mand fans, but I almsot nodded off during his performances. Really boring.

I think Magni is going home, Dilana will be bottom 3. Really can't tell who else will be bottom 3 --maybe Storm, but she doesn't deserve it --neither do the other 2.

OH, and PPOD needs to stop saying how he feels about songs/performances/singer comapred to last year. It irks me no end.

I agree totally on that last comment CHK.. And I think Magni or Dilana will go home. That's why I'm voting for Magni even though I think Storm and Toby deserve it. But I did start my voting by voting for Toby a ton of times.

Storm and Toby were by far the best tonight! Although I was unimpressed with Toby's version of Mr. Brightside. It was just okay.

Lukas, dear, how can you mess up the words to Livin' On A Prayer? It doesn't make a difference if we make or not.......

Magni -> Always a pro but this was not his best performance. I also wish that he had changed outfit.
Storm -> This was her night, she was great although I wasn´t jumping around in joy over her original song. What´s wrong with Dave he said that this was his favorite originals from the two seasons, what a crap. Something bad must have happened to his memory.
Lukas -> I am not a fan but he did good.
Toby -> just loved him. He is so full of energy and knows how to get to the crowd.

It sure will be interesting to find out who will be sent home tomorrow.

Storm: Well, she hasn't been my favorite, but , she really brought it tonight!!!! I loved her original! Thought she was amazing!! I just totally LOVED that song!!!!

THEN there was Toby............my man!!!
Now, he IS my favorite, and he did not disappoint tonight!!! I'm not going to comment on Mr. Brightside, because--well, you know.................other than to say it was completely different that our man Marty Casey. But Toby's original??? WELL........that's another story altogether!!! He is just something ELSE!!!! IMHO Really knows how to work the crowd!!
Everyone else can go home! (although I do have a soft spot for Lukas)
Can ya'll tell I sort of like Toby?? I didn't really have a fave until a couple of weeks ago when Tobe really stepped it up. Nice job!!! I'm really looking forward to this tour, with the house band, rockers, (and from what I hear, Dave Navarro and The Panic Channel) touring with Supernova!!

I'm looking forward to hearing the opinions of others here as well.....

ETA: OK, I just looked at what I wrote and it looks totally crazy--sorry everyone!! I just finished watching the show, and am trying to organize my thoughts. At first, I wasn't into this show AT ALL, and over the past 2-3 weeks I have become totally obsessed!!! ;D ;D I am actually considering buying tickets (not knowing who the winner is) and traveling 300 miles to the nearest concert--SOMEBODY f**kING HELP ME!!!!!!!

OK...Lukas just went off....and it was as good as i remember. I absolutely love his original "headspin" and loved his version of the BJ song....how else could you make that song sound good, but to give it to him.

OK...So I just wanted to tell everyone a bit of the drama from the live taping that they did not air on the show tonight (of course, because it would definately sway some votes in Lukas' favor)

after Lukas sang...Tommy said all his career he has wanted to work with someone who looked, sang, and performed like Lukas!

then they had to back peddle and tell all the rockers that the competition wasn't over by any means. I was curious to see if they would air that comment.

anyway...it was a great show. I will be going tomorrow to the elimination. YEA!
