Storm kicked the stage's ass tonight! I really dug her original, however, it was in NO way better than Trees. (I'm looking at you, Dave) Did you guys notice that crap look on Dilana's face during her performance?

Dilana: I thought the first song was all right, but her original bored me. I filled my Brita pitcher during it.

Magni: Dearie, if you're going to do my favorite Beatles tune, could you PLEASE at least try and act excited? His other song was good, too.

Storm: The Bowie tune-wow. Her original reminded me of RHCP(Red Hot Chili Peppers). One of the best of the night, for sure.

Lukas: Where the hell were you when I was running around Spokane with purple hair? Loved you. Not your best, but damn...I loved his look, though I think he was completely wasted.

Toby: You made me like that Killers song. And his original took me back to high school and punk shows. Is it just me, or was he channeling the Ramones with that tune?

My faves for the night, in order: Storm, Toby, Lukas, Magni, Dilana. Please let Dilana go home. She's the least original.

She was awesome. She's also such a great team player -
major kudos for her on that. I would guess as a friend, she'd

Magni - great voice... just doesn't have the lead singer
showmanship needed.

My top 3 fav performances were:

Toby - he was on fire
Storm - she brought it last night
Magni - his voice was great but lacked the fire (okay, Jodie, I see what you meant, lol)

I liked the Pirate theme they had going this week. Brooke and Lukas ran with it but the others sorta slacked off.

Yuck, yuck, yuck Dilana. The hopping around on one foot was stupid. Bye Bye sweetie pie.

Magni, I loved the voice and the look but I'm certain he should not win it, I'm all for chk's idea. I loved his reply to TLee about why the songs sounded the same "because they were both sung by me" duh.

Lukas looked so cool! Fly I think I get it now. Without all that eye makeup he was giving me a Cure vibe and I love that! He's still a little biscuit and I think he was channeling Lamb Chop on Livin on a Prayer but he looked cool doing it. I couldn't understand the original but again he looked great.

Storm was a blast! I really liked her and who cares if she's a man. She was... AWESOME... point and smile like Dave. I would not go as far as saying the best song from both shows but whatever, Dave has issues.

Toby should win this thing he's perfect for SN and tons of fun to watch plus his original was most like what they would do. I hated his Mr. Brightside.

BG, finally. I seriously couldn't even listen to Lukas last night, because he looked so amazing(to me, anyway). Missing lyrics? Slurred singing? Who cares? He looked incredible. He's the only person that could pull that off and not look like an idiot. Sigh.

As for the Storm/man thing...whoever says that NOW completely missed the point of her original song. I suggest "Why Don't You Come Over?" by Garbage for clarification.

Oh, don't worry. I can't understand him half the time, either. He's just....yeah, I'm going to get booted into 18+ land if I keep going.

Dilana, Magni, and Lukas should be B3. Lukas just because I want to see him onstage again. I almost wish it would be Dilana, Storm and Lukas so Dilana would go home for sure, but that's not going to happen.

ITA with your bottom three (Dilana needs to go!) Lukas does look great and has great stage presence but I can't understand him I'm glad it's not just my ears I really think Toby is the man for the job..he looks great..sounds great and seems to be a lot of fun while still getting the work done.

Why do you guys think Storm looks like a man? Just b/c she's tall? I personally would love to look like her (I think hubby would like it too ) I think she looks awesome for her age...I would love to look as good since we're the same age!

Well, Storm isn't exactly old ... but she is mannish, not only because she is tall but because she has broad shoulders, no waistline and no hips. Last night was the first time I bought her "tough chick" act. It would be much more believable if her hair was black or intense red instead of blonde.

Dilana was painful to watch and not just because she was injured. She needs to go. And why did she fight so hard for "Behind Blue Eyes" if she didn't even know it all the way through? She's a one trick pony and I'm tired of the trick. The biggest disappointment of the season.

Lukas ... yeah, I can't understand a word but I also can't take my eyes off him when he is on stage.

Magni ... good voice, bad attitude, getting monotonous. May be another one tricker.

Toby ... roit for this band. Cute, fun, confident, strong.

One other thing, about the entire structure of the show. I don't feel as though I know these people the way I did last year, and I also don't have a sense of how they relate to each other. I think it's because the performances are longer and they are cutting back on the mansion footage. As a result, I don't care about these guys as much as I did last year. Between the lack of variety in the music and the lack of connection with the performers, I'm ready for this year's show to be over.

dilana-go home already,toby-loved mr.brightside not as good as martys version but loved it loved his original,storm-liked the bowie tune ,didnt care much for her original,magni-did a good job on the beatles liked his original,lukas-tortured bonjovi living on a prayer is my absolute fave bonjovi song and his original was so-so but cant understand him.my choice for bottom 3 is dilana,storm,and lukas. one who is going home dilana i hope.

Somehow they need to cut the 5 to 3 - maybe not, maybe they'll keep 4 for the finale. Dilana and Magni probably to make TLee weep when he axes them.

Read on the web that the one who gets the encore tonight gets a Honda Element? Or maybe the sponsors will do like they did last year and give the remaining 3 each one. Do Elements talk as well as the Civics? ;D ;D ;D

I thought Stormy was inspiring last night - the girl knows how to command an audience. what she did with her original song w/Dave. Best vocals, still Magni - but he just needs to engage the fans in his performance. Not much connection. Dilana, same, same - and no more pity party - gone.

Toby rocked the Mayan and Lukas is like a good book you can't put down. It's theirs to win or lose.

I agree with Wendy in the fact that even on the webisodes it has less to do with the Rockers personal lives this year so its harder to feel for them emotionally. Where is the reward for getting the encore like when Liz came to visit Marty? Those type things endear us to a rocker.

I just wanna remind everyone not to believe what you see all the time or the studio "spin" of things. Remember last year when JD was unprepared for the studio clinic--or they made it seem as if he was unprepared. Same with Lukas this year in the songwriting clinic we just saw--they made it seem like he was unprepared. And they are making it seem like Toby can do no wrong...kinda like last year with Marty..........and yet who won?

Although I like them all but Dilana, Toby is my obvious fave, so right now I am so hoping he is a runner up, #2 because I want to keep him to myself and see his band in future and not see him burdened with the lack of talent that is SN. What happens when they disolve after one record? Not to be a downer but things that make ya go hmmmmmm.
