I agree with Wendy in the fact that even on the webisodes it has less to do with the Rockers personal lives this year so its harder to feel for them emotionally. Where is the reward for getting the encore like when Liz came to visit Marty? Those type things endear us to a rocker. I just wanna remind everyone not to believe what you see all the time or the studio "spin" of things. Remember last year when JD was unprepared for the studio clinic--or they made it seem as if he was unprepared. Same with Lukas this year in the songwriting clinic we just saw--they made it seem like he was unprepared. And they are making it seem like Toby can do no wrong...kinda like last year with Marty..........and yet who won? Although I like them all but Dilana, Toby is my obvious fave, so right now I am so hoping he is a runner up, #2 because I want to keep him to myself and see his band in future and not see him burdened with the lack of talent that is SN. What happens when they disolve after one record? Not to be a downer but things that make ya go hmmmmmm. Hee Hee.. Just read your signature.. Thinking about it. Oh yeah...what about mine?  |

It galls me to say my vote would be for Storm. Agreed(not on the galling part). Storm's original was fantastic. Agreed...I loved her original...I was happy to actually thoroughly enjoy her for a change.  to Storm! |

In our house Storm is the Marty of this year!! She is gonna shine for sure and look forward to her music hitting the streets. Being another tall girl out there. She is someone to look up to...no pun intended. Its been a while since I watched my fav Marty videos. Gonna go get me some. He always brightens my day. Its gloomy here in Colorado. Still can't find work. But hangin and keepin the faith. Rock and roll is here to stay it will never die!!

Tribute to Magni before the show...
Just have to say that we're feeling a little sad here thinking that the outcome tonight seems to have already been decided. We feel like we're watching a different show, but then we remember what Marty did to us last season, so we can't be that far off...
Well, we see a totally different performer in Magni than many see and it just amazes me. To me, Magni has it all and is the only one up there without a gimmick or costume. He's real and charismatic as all get out and he works the stage and engages the audience from where we sit. We love the way he sings, looks, moves, handles himself (bad attitude???), and his sense of humor. No drama, just a true rocker and not boring to us. At least that's the way we see it. We thought he had an amazing performance last night and his original was memorable to us.
However, TL has criticized Magni for what - "I just want to know why you didn't play a guitar with that song," and "it was great that you came back here, but it would have been great to see you go all the way back behind us..." and "why did both your songs sound the same?" Well, very weird comments to us but it seems clear they aren't behind him, at least TL isn't.
So, whatever the outcome is tonight, and you have to think that SN has people combing message boards to find out what people think since they clearly want someone the fans really want, we love you Magni, and if we have to fly to Iceland to see you, so be it. We have been following Marty all over the country so we have no problem with that.
That's all we're just saying. We want to give our Magni the love and support we feel he's due and we're just sad at the thought that he might go tonight.
I'm sure SN will get the singer they feel is right for them and we wish them all the best.

Okay, so all I can stay is that Storm must be OUT OF HER MIND to do "WYWH" ...  Didn't she watch last year? I think Dilana should count her blessings. Even though she kicked serious butt, Storm did her a HUGE favor. |

Yeah, I physically cringed when listening to Storm do WYWH, and I love Storm.
I think even if I didn't have Marty's version to compare it to I still wouldn't have liked it considering that it is one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs. Ouch...

I didn't think her WYWH was so bad. I thought it was one of her better ones.. Ok.. you can pm nasty comments to Penny.
I HATED Dilana's performance.. Ugh
Lukas-Moving on..
I thought Storm handled it well. She showed a lot of grace and class and the guys were all cool. It was the best speech I've heard.

a friend is on a business trip in Branson and just called to ask if I was part of the Rossi Posse. I said no, not officially, but I am a Lukas Lover...he said they have a big shot of me (so then most likely 4Reeds as well) singing along w/ Lukas....I am mortified! but will be fun to watch.. what an amzing show today....we got to see all 5 rockers perform, it was almost like another performance show. I think Lukas' original sounded better than the 1st time he sang it...so so beautiful....Ahhh stormy! hate to see her go, was really hoping it would be magni.....but I guess the "save magni" campaign is working...  (don't hate me magni fans) he is a great guy...and is always so funny at the tapings...but, I just don't see it!  Talented yes, but noooooo, just no. Storm sang WYWH well I thought.... My heart sunk to see Lukas on stage in the B3, but he tore it up,  The guys were shocked he was there too (sort of like when dave dropped the mike when marty was in the B3) We all knew he was going nowhere, but it is still sad to see.....  waiting for 8pm here in hollywood. c'mon!!!!!! |
