Magni: I loved when he played for Toby. He seems to be more himself when he's not the one performing. He's so cute when he smiles and goofs around. I did not understand why Tommy seemed to dislike his original so much. It wasn't any worse than Dilana's or Lukas' and let me tell you, I don't remember any lyric to any of the SuperNova songs they played so far. Exactly. The hypocrisy of that comment really made me mad last night. But, because Tommy made such a big deal about it...I really think that they are going to choose Toby. He’s got the most marketable song, he’s got the catch phrase, and he’s a groupie-magnet for Tommy. I was jsut playing a game on the computer and played last night's performances like I often like to do, to see who really sounds the best. Without even realizing it, I was singing along Magni's original. SO that just blew TL's theory. Also, Dilana did sound real good. Sometimes I can't listen to her but she did sound good and I think she's a lot prettier without too much costume make-up and hair. |

I'm glad that Gilby had something nice to say to Magni after TLee's remark. That came out of left field. I personally like Magni's original.
My favorite from day one was Toby...I was so sure he would be the one. Until last night. I thought Dilana had her best night and band seems to really like her. Lukas...well that's where I might have a change of heart. I can't decide bewteen Toby and Lukas. I would be pleased if either one won tonight.
I adore Magni, he has a great voice, I just don't see him winning tonight.
Time will tell....

I knew that the elimination show was taped on Wednesday morning so i knew that no one else could find out who the winner was before it happened. I'm hoping that what the radio DJ said was just a rumor, but all we can do is just wait and see.

So guys, any word of if LH will be there tonite for the fanale?? i did hear somehting about it in an interview and that was one of the reasons i was watching it!! but they werent on.. dissapointed.. will they be on tonite??  Hope so!! |

well it's over and OMG.........it was good i'm afraid to post who won in case someone sees it who hasn't watched the show yet .........so lets just say that i think it was a good choice.........it is disapointing to watch good people get sent home but they can't all win. so with the choice that they made, i think i would go see them when they come around...........

I wasn't pleased w/ the outcome. But my dream lives.. Toby and Magni.. We should start a campaign for that.
I don't think I would see SN even if they were playing one block away from me for free. That's not being mean, I don't like Lukas' style (yes I said who won) and have no desire to see Dilana performing before them. Although, for Panic Channel I might consider it.
At least Boogie won BB7.

I hear the band lost its right to the name Suernova? I think after tonight they could use Superfreak! Rick James doesn't need it anymore now that he has gone on to greener pastures. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! OK....I was at the taping and posted my review w/out any details at all...I am so glad i can say that LUKAS IS THE WINNER!!!!! I love him, I adore him, he is the only reason I would ever buy a SN cd, or ever go see them in concert.
When tommy was talking to the 2 of them and he was making it sound like they were choosing Dilana, I actually started to tear up (i know i know..psycho) but then when they said lukas...I (and jodie) were just jumping and yelling and screaming...i was so excited. he was so supportive of dilana too...getting the audiece to yell for her more as she gave her farewell speech. I just love him.
I think he is PERFECT for them...but I would be all over ANYTHIBG that he released, solo or whatever. His charisma just slaps you in the face and i just think he is GENIUS!!!!!!!!!
I know a lot of people will be very dissapointed (I even said that when we were leaving the taping today, since he hasn't had that much support here) but all those other folks will go on to do fantastic things, and their fans will still be able to see them, rock with them...etc. But Lukas was right for SN (or Superfreak as it were. ha ha)
What is funny is 4Reeds and I realized that from the 1st taping we went to...from day one...we were most impressed by (or left the taping thinkging) that Dilana and Lukas were the best of the day....and the last show who was left...D and L.....funny huh. I guess 1st impressions really do matter. :-)
Anyway....Lukas Rocks!!!! I Love Lukas...and am so happy for him. I know we all are.
Now, I can't wait to watch the show in half an hour. ha ha.

ok, so i had an epiphany, and i now realize why SN picked Lukas. Since you can't understand a flippin word he's saying, no one will be able to understand their idiotic lyrics!!! so people will just tap their toes, and hum along naively, and buy a bazillion records!!! LOL!
seriously though, i wish them all well. things always have a way of working themselves out. i see Storm and Toby as the Marty's of last year in this way...they were both incredible performers/vocalists, yet didn't get the gig. And really, they were both too good for it. So here's to all the contestants making the best of what they've got! EVS!
