OK, OK...I will not be able to say much at all since I DO NOT want to get in trouble, or even more so I certainly don't want to ruin it for ANYONE...so this is sort of more of a "how it felt to be there" sort of review. I hope that is ok....

i got in line at 5am...yes 5am so i could get in line for fear i wouldn't get in and since Polarfan and Jodieca were coming from a couple of hours away I wanted to make sure we had a good spot. so i got there early and just did my make-up in line. people were coming down the line as it got longer asking...who likes..dilana, or magni or..etc..then passing out signs for people to hold they had made for their favorite rocker. everyone had lots of signs for them (needless to say) 4Reeds and her sis had VIP again so they dropped of Polar and went in.
So Jodie and I KNOW where we want to stand...between the stage and the rockers (as always) and the back door opens and we run in (I don't think the PAs knew this happened) ha ha oops. and we slip by another PA to get EXACTLY where we want. GENIUS!!!! (hey...we aren't fooling around here...this is not a game!!!
) so the rockers come out and it seems like there are 200 signs in the air. so funny. The energy is outlandish...everyone is yelling or chanting for their favorite. Jodie and i kept whispering "1,2,3" then yelling "LUKAS!!!!" (we are nerds...ha ha) and we of course had made signs (mine said "Lukas Rocks" w/ a skull and crossbones on it...and jodie had one for lukas and one for toby...it was funny to watch her switch them around...ha ha ha ha. OK... so like i said No spoilers so this is all VERY general!
brooke comes out and announces the names of the 2 rockers that were supposed to be in the bottom 2 at the end of the show last night (as we all know the order was. Dilana,toby,lukas,magni. but that isn't the way she called them so that was confusing...so there must have been some mess up somewhere..or she misspoke or something...regardless...so they announce who else was in the B3 last night ...then take it back down to the B2 (only 2 sing for their lives today) as they said on the show last night. So the 2 on the bottom each get to sing and then they let one go...it was terribly sad...(just let me add also....SN looks So So sad about letting anyone go...they aren't being nearly as funny and playful as usual...i guess cuz it is an ugly job today, but noticed they were awfully quiet today....but also....there were tons of people for magni from iceland (some guy behind me was talking to magni in icelandic and there were flags and signs for everyone. Dilans's boyfriend, ex-husband and family squeezed in in front of us thanks to jodie...(she is way too nice..ha ha) toby's dad and brother...and i am sure people for lukas too (they weren't near me though so...) so lots of love there for everyone...it was awesome...OK so as we know now it is down to the top 3...Stephanie and her sis are now with us so it is all of us together as we started from show 1...awesome. SO it is down to the top3 and they just let them go one by one until they got to the top 1.....it was sort of anticlimactic....but nerve wracking at the same time. I felt so bad for Tommy...he is the hammer and he had to pass it over to jason once. Yu could hear how much he hated letting them go and what was worse is that when it came to the top 2 standing there everone was just yelling out their name...some for this person, some for that person and tommy was trying to get it out and so meany people were yelling for their favorite rocker and it was just CRAZY!!!! I was freaking out trying to hear him and i felt so bad for tommy and so nervous for the 2 onstage. Again i won't say who won...
But after they announced who it was the "loser" (there really is no loser) gave a long speech and then the winner sang 3 songs w/ their new band (this wasn't taped)...it was soooo awesome. definately worth a day off work.
then we all went to cheesecake factory and stuffed our faces. ha ha.
anyway....i just wanted to write something about the taping...but of course didn't want to say anything that would give away anything....maybe this is just to keep people going until the show tonight.....I can't wait for you all to watch it. EEEEEEEEEE! enjoy everyone...and good luck to your favorite (eventhough i already know who won...ha ha ha ha)
