We really need a place to keep up with the rockers... cd releases... tour dates. I know many of you follow them so please share your knowledge here. Penny you can keep up with Phil, right? polarfan... I need for you to stay abreast *cough* of Storm's doings (anything with her name in it is firewalled for me... yikes). I heard Ryan Starr say his CD is available at msn.com, maybe?

Some Oregon Live "news" from last week after Storm got booted. [ftp]http://www.blogs.oregonlive.com/oregonian/aenow/default.asp?item=181160[/ftp] --------------------------------------
Storm Large has been booted from the "Rock Star" mansion, but her career could go supernova without the reality-TV band.
"I feel like I went out on a high note," she told The Oregonian on Thursday afternoon. "Tuesday night I thought I gave the best performances I've ever given on the show. There was just no better way to end." (Watch Storm's "confessional" about leaving the show.)
Large had been competing in weekly televised auditions for the chance to lead the new supergroup "Supernova." She says she's not taking getting the ax personally. "It's not me being bad or good, better or worse, or pretty or not as pretty as anyone else," she says. "It's just a matter of chemistry, and how Supernova sees themselves, and sees what they want to be."
Fans watching the show at Dante's, where Storm and her band The Balls played for four years, noticed a quieter Storm this week than in weeks past.
Storm says much of the calmness she felt was due to the emotional toll of the song she sang Wednesday night, "Wish You Were Here," by Pink Floyd. She dedicated the song to her late mother, who spent years battling mental disease. The song was written by Pink Floyd in remembrance of early band member Syd Barrett, who battled psychological issues as well.
After "Rock Star's" season finale on Sept. 13, Storm "will come home and disappear for a few days." But while she says her band, The Balls, "will always be," those regular Wednesday night gigs she played at Dante's might be a thing of the past.
"I'm doing a solo record for sure," she says of her future. She hopes that will include a guest appearance by rocker and "Rock Star" co-host Dave Navarro. Though no deals have been inked with a label or new management, Storm does say, "I'm having a lot of lunches this week."

Whoo hoo I didn't know I'd been made Storm ambassador! She was on Howard Stern Weds morning (on the phone) she said she is touring with the House Band with SN. She also mentioned getting together with Dave Navarro this weekend to record another version of "Ladylike". The current CD single "Ladylike" with an explicit and clean version is available now at www.cdbaby.com. I got mine and it's excellent!

Hey there Lukas Lovers Did you catch him on "ELLEN" today Friday? If you go to her website I found some stuff on him at her blog. He was really charming and cute. He seems sweet and Ellen gave him a bag of stuff I think she was calling it a Rockers Handbag it had Tylenol and Ellen boxers and a cam corder so he could send movies back to the show. It was cool. Check it out.
peace

Hey did you guys see Zayra Alvarez at the AMA's? (American Marketing Awards -- cause it ain't about Music, my friends...) She was in the audience, actually dressed. The camera kept showing her and she looked away each time! You'd think she'd have learned to work the camera better!
