Jordis Unga in Chicagoland

I hope some of the Chicago folks can make her show. She just sent out a bulletin on Myspace.

ill be doing a small accoustic gig at rascal's in la grange park illinois saturday march 1.

I wish I could go, but i'll be out of town that day.

Jordis was awesome She has such a powerful voice for a tiny girl. She's adorable and very sweet. We all had a great time at her show last night. Marty, too

Jordis sang a mix of songs from RS, other covers and some cool originals. Afterwards, everyone kind of hung out for awhile and took some pics and chatted.
A bunch of people left to go home; it was pretty late and we thought that it was over.
Nope!
I think that it was after 1am when Marty sat down with the guitar and started talking. He said that Jordis became his best friend in the house when they were on the show. Then, they sang a couple of songs together. They did Creep. (Very, very cool )and then they sang Trees.

It was a really fun night.

I did not take many pics. It was pretty dark in there and I was not right up front.

Thanks angie so much for being the on-scene reporter for this event. That is so cool! I have always wanted to see Marty and Jordis sing together. It sounds like it was a nice show. If you have any photos at all that you would allow me to post on the site, I think I can find a nice little place for them.

Show was great! Jordis is such a nice person! I was very happy to finally meet her and talk with her. I think one of the highlights of the night for me was hearing her do Imagine. I love that song............................and of course hearing Marty sing Creep was very cool.
