I want everyone here to know that
CLAUDIA ROCKS, AND SHE IS FOREVER ON MY LIST OF GREAT PEOPLE!!!!!
She let me use the ticket to the show taping that her friend wasn't going to be able to use. How cool is that? I mean, I was basically a stranger to her, but we got acquainted on the MSN board.
I had a good time hanging out with you, Claudia! You were good company, and it was so great to have someone fun to go with to the show!
Marty loved what we wrote on our hands, too. Claudia wrote "I (heart) Marty", and I wrote "MXC #1".
When he first went out onto the rockers' platform, we were holding our hands up and pointing to them. He squinted to see what they said, and then grinned a huge grin and pointed at us while chuckling! I grinned back and gave him a thumbs-up!

(like I know what you look like..but still) What's funny is that my friend and my sister were watching the show to see if they could see me on TV. They couldn't find me, but when I watched show back that I taped I totally saw myself a bunch of times. Of course I'm the only one who knew where I was. It was a higher camera angle everytime. Claudia OMG, I am so jealous!  I wanted tickets so bad, but every show was booked! I was going to fly cross country just to see MARTY CASEY! My only dream now is that he tours in my area! |

Oh thanks so much for all the nice words.
It was such a crazy thing that we did. Both of us flying to LA to see Marty and meeting on the RS msg brd. chatting and deciding to meet in LA.
I was not going to miss it for the world. I couldn't have asked for a better Marty fan to join me. I am glad that you had the chance to go and see him.
We will have the memories for always. The I  Marty on my hand and you with MXC #1 and him actually seeing it and acknowledging it and smiling and laughing.
Me almost getting the hug and you getting his autograph. I swear I am still kicking myself  for not running behind you when you snuck behind the curtain. I couldn't though that moron security guy was eye balling me bad. he would have taken me down. I just know it. Still I will remember the wink and his voice and his eyes and the hair, skin, body...aaaahhh.
Thanks for coming out with me. You are pretty great yourself!!!
p.s. I finally got the CD's and Bobby sent me the handwritten note. I love them so much. God, that L'strange cd is pure heaven. Clouds is one of my favorite songs. OMG I wanted to cry it is so beautiful. I don't know what Marty is talking about that he couldn't really sing, but more scream. He can!!!! His voice is amazing on all of it.
Anyway, I have rambled long enough.

I ordered the tickets a month before the taping. I got really lucky. I originally wanted tickets to the performance show, but they were sold out. So, I took the Wed. taping and I am so happy I did. I too, flew from Florida to LA pretty crazy, but I wanted to go so bad I didn't care. I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was awesome. Being able to see him upclose was heaven . |

Now my problem is I am going thru major withdrawls, how are you girls handling it? I would be in major depression mode, LOL!! ;D
