So everybody thought he was in LA and he was back in Chi-town...

Well, this is what Marty's life is going to be, he will have to wear Big Sunglasses and Floppy Hats so that he can travel incognito, or he will be mobbed!

Ok I posted my recap on the RockStar board but the thread has since been deleted due to one nutcase over there that's been bashing Marty since early yesterday morning. Ill try off the top of my head to recap again..although I may leave some things out..apologize up front.
He was asked "who never flushed the toilet..who was just a mess at the mansion". Answer JD.
DJ: Were there any romances in the mansion:
Marty: Unfortuantely all the women had boyfriends, fiances, or were married..so that bummed me out.
DJ: Was JD as arrogant and egotistical as he looked on TV?
Marty: TV made him look worse than he is. We really got along pretty well.
Marty also talked about the fact he kept the drama on the stage..and said he just refused to get involved in the drama at the mansion. He just didn't want any part in it.
Marty was asked about not winning. Marty said he wanted to win and was sunk when he didnt. Although was thrilled when INXS asked him to open. Bobby (LH) was in the audience and he said as soon as they announced JD the winner..he could hear Bobby all the way on stage going "YEAH!!!" He said LH were very nervous that Marty would win..and they'd be left without a lead singer..so they were thrilled he took 2nd.
Marty said it was all "meant to be" and he's so happy for the Lovehammers and that he gets to enjoy success with his friends and bandmates (paraphrasing).
DJ: Did you know you have the most downloaded song on MSN Music(Trees)?
Marty: (paraphrasing) Yes and that's awesome. It was my goal to get to do an original song eventually on the show. I just wanted to get it out there. I had no idea it would get the response it has.
Marty talked about the fact he's "been on the phone 8 hours a day for the past 5 days" with all the deals coming his way. He said there is so much legal wrangling and contract stuff..he hates it..but trying to get thru it all and hammer out the best deal for he and the LH. He said there are management companies out the ass calling him..and he's trying to sort thru them all. ((sounded like MC is in need of GOOD legal consel!))
He said he was out Bday night with Jordis, Dana, Brandon, Ty and others from the show at the Rainbow Club and another LA club to see a band.
Regarding Lovehammers: Marty: We are going to do a benefit concert in Chicago for Hurricane relief..but we dont have a venue yet. Trying to work that out. SHould be in about 2 weeks or so. At least that's what we're hoping for. ((yay! Marty concert!!!))
Regarding JD: Marty said there were a few times he thought JD would be booted off. However he peaked at the right time and grew as a performer and became " a real rock star". He also said he was happy for JD. Marty did not indicate when he'd be home in Chitown..too much going on in LA right now for him.
((Oh you all will love this!! When they started the interview..you can hear the radio station calling Marty's phone..hear it ring and he answers "Marty Casey". I loved that@!!))
Sorry Im jumping around..trying to remember it all.
Marty mentioned that the most surprising thing to him when he first left the mansion is that so many ppl kept coming up to him and acting like they knew him. He said it took him awhile to get used to that. He took 3 days to just "chill" from it all and get used to "life outside the mansion". He said they had no access to tv, internet, newspapers, etc. and had only 1 30 min phone call to family a week. Could not talk to Lovehammers and he hated that. He said its still strange getting used to the "real world" again and that they really were very isolated. Also said that they did get on ea other's nerves at times because of no outlet. However he said he and JD did get along pretty well.

Yup she's the one that created all the havoc. Unfortuantely she's not gone. They just deleted those entire threads because of her spamming but she's still around unfortunately. I pray to GOD she doesn't show up over here.

One other thing I just remembered about Marty not winning. DJ asked if he had any idea one way or the other about who was going to win. Marty said some people at the end were getting "preferential treatment" ie, more rehearsal time than others so that made him wonder. Also he said the week before the Finale..he was convinced that it would be Suzy that was going to win. He said he thought (Marty thought) that he "really kicked" with INXS on stage..and after his performance he thought he'd win and was surprised when he didn't

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE INFO. IT'S GREAT TO KNOW THAT MARTY IS SWAMPED WITH CALLS ;D IT MEANS THAT THERE IS ALOT OF INTEREST IN HIM!!! ALL I KNOW IS ALOT OF US ARE GOING THRU MARTY WITHDRAWAL, AND WE WANT HIM BACK IN THE SPOTLIGHT ASAP!!

msd2k.....thanks for the recap. I was looking all over the RS board for it last night....someone posted for me there but when I went to find the message they had all been deleted. I was soooo wondering what had happened. So, btw, did he explain what actually happened to make him so late for his interview? Just curious.

"Marty was up at 6:00am in L.A. waiting for a call from the station and it never came. I heard him on 101.1 at 5:30 today and it sounded great."

Thank you so much for the recap! REally enjoyed hearing what Mr. Wonderful is up to now. Poor thing must be shell-shocked with all the new fans. He'll probably never, ever have trouble finding a date!

Maybe Marty missed the interview because of the time zones. How many hours difference is Chicago and LA? Two hours? Well, I know i'm three hours ahead so maybe that could have happened some how.
