Hey everyone, Just wanted to let you know that "Trees" is now available for download on iTunes!  Someone else posted the news on another board. It's not the Lovehammers version though, and it's just credited to Marty. Correction: It's the same one that's available on MSN (from his first performance of it on RS:INXS). |

Thanks for letting us know. I can finally purchase Marty performances from the show. MSN doesn't work for Mac users. I hope more of Marty performances show up on iTunes.

YAY! That just made my day.  If you haven't bought it on MSN, buy it on iTunes. It's not showing up on the Top 100 yet (BTW, Pretty Vegas is at #10). If we show them we'll buy his stuff, maybe they'll get more. They have LH's Murder on My Mind (I LOVE Clouds and Tunnels especially) + Marty's What I Like About You from Rockstar. "Trees" is still #1 on MSN music! 3 or 4 weeks now, I think I've checked every day. |

I just checked the status of Trees on iTunes today, it just reached the top 100. Yay, Marty!

If someone can find the direct link to go order Trees on itunes...I will be happy to add it to the site with a direct link. I looked at it and other than signing up and downloading their software, I did not see a way to link to a page about it.....
If you find it, though I will add it.

I can't figure it out...but I'm computer challenged. Sorry, maybe someone else can figure it out? Trees is currently 86 on iTunes.

Cindy, I don't think there's a way to directly link to buy the song in iTunes. You have to first install iTunes on your machine and then browse their music store from inside the iTunes application. At least that's what I've always done. I did find links to buy "Trees" and YRGM from Yahoo! Music here: music.yahoo.com/ar-24019530-downloads--Marty-Casey |

I bought it as well on ITune...but I have a question? This isn't his official single, I hope because it is from the show. I want to hear Marty/Lovehammers sing the full version and in their style. Hopefully, this is just a snippet of what is to come.

Yes, this is the version from RS:INXS; I beleive the LH are recording the full-length version for later release. BTW, Trees is #73 today... let's keep it moving!

Great. How do you find this stat. I have gone into ITune and I hit the button for the list, but I don't get anything. What am I doing wrong.

In iTunes, go to the home page. On the top right side of the screen is a list of "Today's Top Songs". For now (since Trees isn't in the Top 10 yet), you'll have to click on the area that says "Top 100 Songs".
Let us know where Trees is at now...

I try, but no luck. I can get best albums and videos, but when I hit best songs, it just shows the top six. Oh well, will you go look and let me know?

I'm not sure why you cannot see the top 100 songs...I asked my husband (he's a tech dude) and he thought perhaps you have an older version of iTunes. Sorry, it's not working for you. For me, the Today's Top Songs is above Today's Top Album and Today's Top Videos on the right side.
Anyway, I don't mind looking it up (I just wanted to make sure it was working for you). Trees is currently #51. I think that's pretty good progress. Yesterday morning it was #100. Pretty Vegas is #8.

Cool I did finally post a link to itunes on the front page of the site and on the links page...just takes one straight to www.apple.com/itunes/ where hopefully they can figure out how to find Trees among all the flotsam and jetsam. Even though I don't own an ipod I bought a copy from itunes anyway. Not even sure if it will play on my regular stuff....haven't even tried. But hey, it is only 99 cents, so gotta support our rocker. Let's all go download it and move the song up in the rankings. I am going to go buy it again. |
