Hi everyone,
Thanks for the list. I e-mailed them all. Does anyone remember the movie "Rockstar" with Mark Walburg? Wouldn't it be amazing if they made a "Rockstar 2" staring Marty Casey and the Lovehammers. Do you realize how many of us would pay to see that movie over and over again. I'll tell ya, I could sit through hours just listening to his amazing man belt out one song after the other. It would be really cool to watch someone pierce Marty's chest like Jennifer Aniston did to Mark in the first one. Just when Jennifer pierced his chest she leaned over for a long wet kiss. Picture Marty in that scene. AWSOME!

Geeee won't be able to take credit for this one  I noticed jillywilly65 post and knew we had a thread with the information... Interesting that the thread was started Sept. 2005  so we don't have to reinvent the wheel!!! Good to hear there is some movement in getting "Our Guys" back on TV so everyone can see and hear them... wow its been 9 months since this topic came up, the nice thing is the email links. It is hard to stay on top of old topics if no one is visiting them, sorry.
I got used to seeing Marty every week for 3 months and now ZILCH! If this years 5th place can make it on ELLEN then last years 2nd place surely should have a shot don't you think?? I am going to write her now.. Jay Leno always has indie bands on and so does the Craig Ferguson show so I will give them a shot too.

Nope Jilly  Close to a year!!!! Sept 24/05 One of the first Threads here on MC.org  As Ceeje indicated the Street Teamers have a thread that Radioclash put together so we could stay focused having all the pertinent information in one place This thread has all the discussion and off topic on it  Back in Sept 2005 everybody was just throwing out ideas and comments ;D ;D Hummmm... happened a lot back then  Soooo all your information will be there HTH |

This thread was started before there ever was a ST board! I wish we had a screen shot of the board back then. It was even a different color scheme back then, to match the old website color scheme.

Thanks Trees I appreciate it. I honestly usually read only the topics that have "today" posted. I have a short attention span I guess  Also I am alone here in Colorado Springs. This is a Slipknot or Lynard Skynard town and have yet to find another LH fan. No one but me hubby and teen age neice like Marty I guess?! So I never even look in ST since they aren't coming to Colorado. It is a bummer. Couldn't go in Jan. to Denver so it will be a while b-4 I see them when they swing this way again. thanks again, I'll look harder next time  Jilly |

Thanks C for the memories of Cindy changing the colours of this site!! I went looking to see if I could find out more and that's where I found my first post... I think it was really my second but I put it in my reply that it was my first  Not a milestone for Marty Fest yet fun to read Just want to clarify the changing of colours is a milestone though.  Yikes I just realized I'm off topic here ;D ;D Guess I'm just falling back into the old ways  Sorry about that! Hummmm.... maybe it's this thread eh?  ;D |

I am sitting here totally bummed at what "I" feel is a bum rap for Marty and LH's. I am seriously wondering why someone like Kelly Pickler who came in SIXTH on AI is now out promoting her new album??? on all these talk shows?? She got picked up by the producers of Kenny Chesney and Barbara Mandrell? and many others that are famous , just like Marty. I am having a hard time with the seeming tireless efforts of all you awesome fearless fans, voluntarily with hardly any results in the Mainstream. I hope that things turn around soon for LH's and they get another chance at the big break... How can we get him on TV already, nothings working it seems Jilly it just isn't fair |

Jilly, I had the same exact thought when I heard about kelly! some of the american idol people seem to show up everywhere what is up with that! Lovehammers so deserve a break on tv for sure!

I'm with you, Jilly. The girl yodeler was on the Megan McLally (not sure sp. right) show today 11/14. Ellen had INXS on and Storm Large. I have written to Ellen a few times and I think I did a really good job advocating for the guys. I put a lot of humor in (my own and hers - which are similar.) But here we are in the same spot. I've been thinking lately, the guys are in a down time again and it makes me nervous.  Getting them on TV would give everyone a boost that I think we need about now - one month after HJ. I am not savvy with ideas to promote the but someone who is wise and crafty needs to come up with a better approach because the emailing TV shows is not working. If there is a new idea for promoting I will do whatever I can to help. Spread the love
