Martys Extra Exposure

Has anyone else noticed how the JD fans on msn have really started bashing Marty really bad again. It has really heated up again. I think it is because of all of Martys exposure. Think about it. Almost everyday, Marty is doing something such as radio spots, concert, and other announcements. They really are not hearing new stuff about JD. I really think they thought INXS would suddenly be huge again. Really you dont hear much about them. When their cd comes out and the tour starts, I think that will help calm the bashers alot. That is, unless the media doesnt really care. I was on the other board and had to leave because I realized they just are looking for anything to bash our Marty about. They just are not getting their JD fix. At least we are hearing stuff about Marty on a regular basis. ;D I do miss seeing him on tv all the time. Miss you Marty!!

Marty is a businessman, a mature performer and has been doing this forever. He knows momentum does not last forever. INXS are (IMHO has-beens) "rock stars", that means that they will not put out anything until it meets their standards...

I am not a fan of American Idol, but from a show business point of view, I noticed what happened to Clay and Ruben...Hence my prophecy...J.D. WHO?

Anyone know you BLBLCK is? People post all sorts of weird stuff. Not saying it's not true just that I question the validity of the statement and the person's motives in posting it on the internet.

Whether or not Marty has or had a girlfriend does not matter. In fact, I think it’s important that part of his private life remains just that---his private life. If he chooses to share the fact that he might have a special someone that is his right to do so when he chooses and I say good for him! Let’s not get excited and worked up over the fact that he may have or may not have a relationship. Everyone should have a special someone to share life’s journey with and if that person inspired the song “Trees” then I say a big “thank you” to them because I absolutely love that song.

Marty still would have gotten the same votes he did even if he made it public that he was not single because we are [glow=red,2,300]NOT[/glow] shallow fans….we voted because of his extreme talent and personality. We voted for him because Marty Casey is a ROCK STAR!

OK, the 12 year olds that were in Chicago are in for a letdown, but most of us who discovered Marty and the LH on RS:I and came to love Marty's music and personality are adult, married, in relationships or single and dating, right?

Does anybody above 12 really think that they could hook up with Marty?
This is 2005!

As if somebody with those looks, personality and talent could be single at the tender age of 32! Of course there must be somebody, and the L'Strange album bears a dedication to somebody called M, who makes him laugh. We should all be happy for him. If he really were single it would mean that he is on the rebound from a
breakup. I never believed it for a minute.

Hey fairmagda,

This item was posted all over about a week or so ago on MSN and was removed. The person who posted it was a Marty basher for the most part. This same post has been copied onto every other RS:I site since then, and has been either removed or a response has been made by mods.

drivmcr8zy - Please delete it. It's in poor taste.

I would think on a Marty fan site there would be enough respect for Marty that a fan would NOT post this type of garbage where he is being called a liar & fraud. Marty's family & friends visit this board. Be considerate.

He does have a right to some privacy. If there is in fact a girlfriend, well she is one lucky woman.

Thought I'd add that while there is a House of Blues hotel in Chicago there is not one in LA. The HOB that the Rockstars have spoken of is a restaurant, bar and venue. I've been there it's cool but I wouldn't want to sleep there. ;)

Again I'd like to suggest that the validity of this statement is highly questionable. If it is true how wonderful for Marty! If not it was a very uncool thing to post about his personal life.

Well thought Robin and asthmaticagnostic... a person of Marty's caliber will be attached sooner or later and anyway it is his private life. Most of us are attached and are just harmlessly entertaining ourselves with squees. It's not like we're going to do anything stupid if we find out he's attached.

Frankly, I'll be more sad if they don't release an album!

I personally wouldn't believe it until I saw it. People will say anything. If it is true then I agree with the rest of you, who cares!!! I am happily married and not about to start stalking him or anything. I think it is really rude of someone to post personal info like that true or not. If he wants his privacy he should have it!!

I have noticed the Marty bashing getting out of hand on the rockband site. It disgusts me to be honest. The excuse given is well we are used to defending JD, so we are in that mode.
Well I guess not everyone will see Marty's appeal and I respect that. But it has gotten way too nasty for my liking. Alot of personal attacks and such. I do think they are preoccupied with Marty for some reason.
As to that stupid post about Marty lying. I don't recall him saying he was married or anything. He said he was single and if he isn't married, then he is single. If he does have a gf then good for him. He deserves to be happy and his fans will be happy for him. If he is dating someone, then they are one lucky girl. It is silly to say that we would not have voted for him if we knew he was attached.

Fans are people that support someone. For those of us that really care about Marty if this is true we're glad and happy. He has someone he cares about and who cares about him.
