Cheap Trick -- "The Flame" I loooove that song. Marty could use his soft, sexy, breathy voice (for me).

Your gonna love this.......... My husband just laughs at me because just about every song I hear on the radio, I say "Marty could sing that song so much better" Thanks Marty, for bringing music back into my life. hehehehe Please tell you husband, when he laughs at you he is laughing at a lot of others that have an ear for a great diverse voice I listen an internet radio station which is very eclectic (radioparadise) comes from a garage studio, Paradise CA, run by a husband and wife team, Bill and Rebecca Goldsmith. Waiting for Rebecca to listen to some of Marty's song. She'll pick something that is worthy of the station and their listeners and it will not be in the main stream radio!! Very unlikely that "Trees" will make it due to the high volume of other radio stations playing it. This is why I love this radio station Don't get me wrong about not hearing main stream not being played though. I think it has to be about 10 years off the charts before they play it on their station That's the great thing about this station. Geeeezzz I'm rambling on about this station and not Marty and his voice and about your husband laughing at us fans. hehehe Give him a for all the people that have same mind as you. Soon your husband will be hear you say "Good grief Marty could sing that version of Jingle Bells better!"

BTW, I posted a message re: a song I'd like Marty to sing in the topic: Topic: what song would you pick? I'm confused about how that thread and this one is different? Maybe my post there should be here instead?

I have to truly say and am trying not to be biased, if that's possible, I listened to Radiohead's "Creep" and I was so disappointed. Marty blew that song out of the water. I watch that video all the time. Then I started thinking about all the songs he performed and I believe he sounded much better than the originals on most. We've said it before about the "IT" factor but I thought of that as a physical, superficial thing. His voice is just so distinct and his intensity is so beautiful when he performs that I truly am "hypnotized' watching him. God help me. I don't think there is a way out the place I have found myself in. On second thought, I don't want to leave.

I heard WYWH by Pink Floyd on the radio. Ummm Marty sounds alot better. That Pink Floyd guy sounded so rough. Martys sounds powerful, like the song needs to be, but soft, smooth, and mesmerizing. Marty makes you feel like you are floating on a cloud.

Loved Marty's WYWH! I am a big Marty fan and Metallica fan, so I would love to hear him do the acoustic version of Nothing Else Matters or even One. Maybe even Crazy Train by the Oz.
