I have a really good one, but I hesitate to say it because if Marty ever did this song I would just melt into the floor forever. If you don't know it, download it immediately and listen to all the words!
The song is,"Thank You for Hearing Me" from Sinead O'Connor's Universal Mother album.

That is a great song joely! I would never have thought of Marty covering Sinead, but it could work.
I would absolutely love to hear him do anything by Damien Rice, especially Cannonball or Volcano. He has the same sort of slight hoarseness and pleading vulnerability in his voice. I could definitely see Marty doing the songs with just an acoustic guitar.
If you are not familiar with Damien Rice, check him out at VH1.com. They have some videos up. He's one of my favorite newer artists.

People Are Strange, Roadhouse Blues, Strange Days ... there are a lot of songs in the Doors catalog that would really suit Marty.
