Gotta hand it to Marty, cashing in on his popularity! And why not too, I hope he gets a ton of money cos him and LH obviously need it right now.

Personalize the licence to say MTYCSYFAN hahahha This "horn-dogged" girl would much rather have Marty in garage for my "plaything"...but since that isn't likely to happen...I am happy to settle for his car....that is quite ok with me!!! Love Toyotas...first car was a Celica. I will drive it to the concert in February so he can visit it while he is in Boston...will gladly take him for a ride.... My plate will read LOVEHAMMERS so I can spread the for the band...will drive it all over town with Lovehammers music blaring from the newly installed CD player. Will put Lovehammers website up on side of car in vinyl letters...so people will check it out!! Good luck to all bidders!!! p.s. Rockbeast...luv the new do...verrry nice... ;D

I laughed when I read the description, too. Hope it sells well.
I just checked the blue book rate for private sales of this type of car and it said $4,000....so anyone who wins this auction for less is getting a good deal.

I have a question. I am feeling very sorry for these guys who are having to work so hard to get things together, which obviously makes working elsewhere impossible right now. I would have thought RS:INXS would have given Marty some kind of money for winning 2nd, and also would have thought the band INXS would advance something for the tour. Does nothing come in until the album comes out and the tour starts? I would think they would have gotten some money from the MSN downloads of Trees? Does anyone know? What a bind to be in!

I was wondering about that as well. Seems a shame that they have to sell off stuff on ebay to raise money. Hopefully they will have some coming in soon. Know they will. And think about how much they will appreciate the $$$ when it starts coming in. I bet they will not take it for granted. Or let it get to their heads.
And I think that Marty wouldn't have gotten anything for the msn downloads b/c it was while on RS. Also, they said the proceeds were going to the Katrina fund. Good cause, of course.

I think that by bidding on the auctions, buying their cd's and official merchandise, and buying concert tickets is what we can all do to help the band out the most. And of course call in and request their music at radio stations when we can.
Naturally buying their future single and CD should also be a must do.
