Listen.......no matter the title or the cover art.........it is my belief the record will sell..........and then some......... My thoughts were pretty straight forward.......it's a LoveHammers Album......not a Marty Album..........in that vein my submission was made....... It'll be awesome........believe it!!  Amen to all that!  and....I believe!!! The music is what matters....it's what's on the inside that counts after all (oh how cliche of me!) ....people will buy the CD to listen to it...not stare at the cover!  Unless of course Marty's face is plastered on the CD cover...then I will listen while staring at the cover.... double bonus for me (and for many other female fans!) That said...I have seen some pretty cool ideas for covers and titles... and there are some seriously creative fans....I gave it my best shot just to contribute and have fun...can't wait to see the final product...and hear it!  |

Someplace, somewhere, someone suggested "Narrow Escape" as a title which I think is hilarious. Anybody heard "Switch"? Definitely not Marty Material!
I suggested "Hard" ... as in the Lovehammers hit, HARD!

So, what are all your ideas? Lets see them. Lovehammer board has some great ideas. Some of mine. Sillyness first. How Many Faces Do You See In The Mirror Fun house mirror with all the boys faces reflecting all over the place. I would love them to re-do Over and Out really raw. Over and Out is one of my personal favorites...Love your idea!!! clap, clap, clap!!! (need clapping emoticon!) actually...there are many lines from this song that would make an eye grabbing CD title.... |

Only one so far??? I know YOU can come up with more... Well, myohmy, you won ... three more ideas caught up with me in the shower this morning ;D I wonder if they're getting any doubles! At least one or two of mine are pretty obvious, I think (Geez, what a goofy and energetic emoticon, just above here ... but it makes me laugh so I'm leavin' it in!) You go girl!!!  And this emoticon... is the cutest thing evah.... And I am sure there are many like-minded people suggesting similar/same ideas...hey, maybe the one suggested the most will win? assuming it doesn't suck of course.... |

Here are my ideas:
1. If the song "Eyes Can't See" is on the album, then make the title "Eyes Can't See", and for the cover art, use photos of just the eyes of each band member, stacked up 4 pairs high. Someone on the Lovehammers.com message board has or had an avatar pic like this, so if you can find it, that would give you an idea of what it would look like. All of the guys in the band have strikingly beautiful eyes, so this would make for one compelling cover! You really can't tear your eyes away from it.
2. "What We Do". Early on in RS:INXS, Marty said in a video clip about his performance of "You Really Got Me" that "This is what I do--do ya like it?"
Now that the Lovehammers are all together again, this is "what they do", and we sure do like it! The cover could be a shot of them playing live at the Metro. The whole concert was filmed, so video-capture a great shot, or see if the pro photographers who were down front have some good shots for that.
I wish the guys all the success in the world!

So far What We Do and Narrow Escape are my favorites posted on this thread. Can't wait until Jan. for the release. For now it sure is fun to see all of everyone's ....uh....creativity....such as L'Penny and L'Julianah lol Denise |

Wow, they are going to have a lot of excellent suggestions, it will be really cool if they do choose a title/graphic submitted by a fan.
I submitted just one idea:
"Earthbound" My reasoning was that with some of the songs on their album like Trees, Clouds, etc.. that it might reflect the content of their titles, but also their new adventures touring.
And I figured as a graphic, they could have an aerial view through parting clouds of a landscape or satelite image of chicago.

We have closed the submission since they have to be reviewed now by the band asap. I don't know why, but that got me very excited. I had about 40 CD title ideas and submitted 5. I really like a lot of the ones suggested here and on the LH board. |
