Marty, I have posted on several threads here and the lh board praising you and thanking you and every time I seem to restate the obvious. But why stop now when I seem to be on a roll...lol.... You really started something phenomenal by going on rs--your band has signed with a major record label with a new album set to be released in a little over a month, preparing for a national tour with sold out shows, and all these really rockin' fans who have so much devotion to you and the Lovehammers. Count me with the multitudes. I can only imagine how blown away you are by this turn of events. You have worked hard to get where you are and you deserve it. We are all just so grateful that you took the chance of becoming a "reality star" so that we could all be turned on to your music. I hope that all of your hopes and dreams become your new reality!
I am coming to the Aragon in a little over a week and I can barely contain my anticipation and excitement. I have heard so many awesome stories about the Metro and I know the Aragon will not disappoint.
Thank you for taking the time to write a little about your recent experiences and letting us have a glimpse of just how insane your life has become since the conclusion of rs. We have all been wondering about you and how you are adjusting to this new life.
I also want to commend you on your loyalty to the band. I, too, worried that managers and record labels would try to entice you into a solo career. I shouldn't have worried about you succumbing to this pressure though because it is quite obvious that you and the rest of the guys are committed to the Lovehammers and loyal to one another as friends, as well. Your response to the craziness of fame is commendable and refreshing. I wish you the best in the future and look forward to many more opportunities to see you live!
One last thing...please add Texas to your tour--you have some great fans here!
Take care and see you next week! Rachel

Hey there Mr. Marty, There's probably not a lot for me to say that one of the others hasn't already said so...ditto on what they said... You (the Lovehammers) rock, thanks for keeping rock 'n' roll alive and pumping, say "hello" to Dino, Bobby, and Billy on our behalf. See ya at Boston! (PS: I think you've been here before, but if not I could always show ya around.) Skye -- You keep rocking and we'll keep "Spreading the Love(hammers)"!

Dear Marty,
Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out the little corner of cyberspace that Cindy and Amy carved out for all of us that have become fans of you and the Lovehammers!
I don't think you are even aware of how inspiring you have been to many of us that watched you take the chance of a lifetime on RSINXS. To be honest with you, I am not a big fan of reality TV, but catching your image on the screen, just before you sang "Take Me Out" had me hooked every week. What first drew my interest to you was watching you sit on the side of the stage, looking rather anxious and shy, but when you stepped out to perform, your presence and extreme talent shined through, and I think we all knew then that you were destined for great success.
We are impressed with the grace, dignity, kindness and warmth you and the Lovehammers show to your fans and fellow performers. You were the "underdog" that we cheered and tirelessly voted for every week, and whom we are so proud to watch finally glean the success you, Dino, Bobby and Billy have more than earned.
Thank you for taking a risk, for being genuine and for never failing to awe us with your generosity of spirit. You have inspired me to take risks, to follow my heart and to dance with my muse again, and as a fellow artist, you have shown me how important it is to never let go of dreams, and to continually work hard to make them a reality. I look forward to seeing the Lovehammers perform at the Lincoln City, Oregon show, and hope to meet you in person.
One more thing:
DON'T CHANGE!!!!!!!!!
Kindest Regards, Alison/SheOwl

Hi. I would love to meet you and the band when you pass through Detroit. I'm in the 12th row at the concert and I'd be happy to show you and the guys around town or kick back and relax with an adult beverage. Looking forward to it! I saw you guys at the Tweeter Center and rekindled my love for Rock and Roll. Rock on!!!

Thank you Marty Casey !!! You do have a GREAT thing going... your talent is so powerful and your personality... so magnetic! You have a band that rocks BIG TIME (and reeks with charisma too!). And you do have lots and lots and lots of people who love you (that absolutely includes me!) Thank you for sharing your music and making such an impact in my life. I hope and pray that as the years go by and as you reap the success that you and the Lovehammers so rightfully deserve... that you guys won't change. I only wish pure happiness for all of you. What a priviledge to hear from you, Marty Casey. Ditto to all the things that have been said by my fellow posters.
I'm looking forward to your visit to my lovely city of Toronto in February. I'm sure JD will be able to show you all the hot spots in this great city, but if he bails on you, I'll put on my tour guide hat and would be bursting at the seams to show off the city.
Cheers, Deb from Toronto

Marty: So wonderful to hear from you - it's great to hear the update about your wild and crazy life right now! We are so looking forward to seeing you and the band with INXS and most importantly the release of the new Lovehammers album - the others are almost worn out! Can't wait til January... Thanks for bringing some incredible music into our lives - from Rockstar to the Lovehammers - we needed it - it's so long overdue! You span the generations and completely fill a void in music with your brilliant talent, warm heart and beautiful soul. You've helped me (and many, many others) rediscover a lost love of rock. All of a sudden, it just feels so right again! Only the very best to you and the band, you deserve it, keep rockin' for a lo-o-o-o-n-g time, Marty Casey ................. and don't change. Treedom (Hey, So Cal isn't all bad - no snow! (But Chicago is also one of my favorite cities, going back in June...after the snow melts. ;-))

Yes--this site really does ROCK! I am so thankful to Cindy and Amy for all their hard work to make this place one of the best fan sites I've ever seen. GREAT job, ladies! And to you, I just want to say: Marty--THANK YOU! Thank you for taking that huge chance and going on RS:INXS. Thank you for being true to your own beautiful soul through it all. Thank you for having the guts to put yourself totally on the line every one of those 'thousand weeks' and kick it up a notch (or 20) every single week. Thank you for being loyal to your band. Thank you for being so kind and respectful to your fans. Thank you for your music and words--you have inspired me to start writing again. I have met you twice now, and each time, my brain-to-mouth connection has short-circuited before I could even introduce myself. So, hello Marty, I'm Nancy! I met you at the taping when you smashed the blue guitar, and you signed my MOMM CD insert (see my avatar photo to the left). When you saw it, you said, "Oh my God, you've got a Lovehammers' CD!", like it was the most amazing thing in the world that someone would show up in LA with one. I really wanted to tell you that MANY people had Lovehammers' CDs, and the band was having trouble keeping up with the orders. (Security would have thrown me out for that, though!) I met you again at the Metro afterparty. We had a conversation about something I had given you at that taping. You were so gracious. Thank you so much for the hug and the photos with you! I hope to see you at the Aragon show. Please check your private messages on this board. (See the top right corner of any page here, and click on the word "messages".) Marty, you said you wanted to "blow our minds"--mine is completey and utterly blown away by you, and has been from the moment your hat went flying off during "Take Me Out". I knew right then, that I was seeing someone who didn't just 'want' to be a rock star, but who had rock and roll running through his veins, heart, and soul. I knew right then that your future would be amazing. Seeing that future coming to life continues to be absolutely thrilling, and a true joy! Thank you so very much. Nancy

I'm a woman of few words, so...
Marty, so awesome of you to stop by. Cindy and Amy to an absolutely great job with the site.
Saw you guys at the Metro and will be back for the Aragon. Will also see you in Atlanta in February (hooray for the southern dates). Lovehammers have been in heavy rotation for me for several months now - you guys simply rock.
And it cheers me no end to see nice guys finish first for a change. So hang on and enjoy the ride!

OHMYGOD, Marty my darling!!!!
All I can do is offer all I have to someone whose star is so obviously rising! I'd like to say I'm your biggest fan, but there are many many people here who are all working hard towards your success. You deserve every good thing coming your way as you have worked very hard for it.
Now is your time.
You (your core way of being), your music (all that writing talent) and your stagecraft (your amazing connection and sharing yourself with your audience) are phenomenal! You are right on the verge of huge things and it's just as plain as day to all of us, who have been watching since first being mesmerized...
Here in Maine I've been practically accosting people on the street to tell them about you and the Lovehammers' wonderful music and hell, I'm older than dirt (gray-haired and 54) so it fairly shocks people to death!
Let's just say you have reminded me how much I love good old screaming rock and roll, and when I blast my poor laptop's surround-sound speakers for Suicide Blonde or I Alone I just let myself fly!!!!!! (Actually I do that on all your songs, but shhhhh.....no parents to yell at me to TURN THAT STEREO DOWN!.....lol..)
(I've also been told I'm not to scream since I sing in a barbershop chorus, but....ya know, sometimes you've just got to do it !!!.....)
If you ever need to run away from the hectic pace and just hide out a bit, Maine is your place. We have famous people hiding here all the time and you'd be very welcome here : )
Mainers are friendly, but they mind their own business and don't bother people who want privacy. I have a camp Downeast on a little cove that even the locals have a hard time finding so let me know if you ever need it! (No running water there, but there is electricity..)
~ So, for tonight, I'll just send love out to you and the Lovehammers from the hometown of Stephen King, Hannibal Hamlin, William Cohen, and Howie Day....
and do keep in touch with us fans, won't you please?

Marty -
I've been hiding in the shadows at this site for months, and never posted. I felt compelled to write after you posted.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU for being you. Thanks for giving us your heart and soul in every performance. Thanks for letting us feel more alive and have a lot more fun in life.
It feels good to be silly, giddy and excited. I've corresponded with Dino on myspace and it is always a thrill to get a personal message from one of you.
I saw you perform at the Metro, flew in from Florida with my husband and it was the best show I have seen in a long time. What energy.
How does it feel to connect with people on that level? To create sheer energy and joy. Wow.
I live in Boca Raton Florida, about 3 blocks from Mizner Park. It would be my pleasure to show you around, buy you a beer, do your laundry LOL... whatever...
I truly hope to meet you and the rest of the Lovehammers.
Thank you again. Thank you for posting. You made my day. Actually, a note from the Lovehammers this morning made my day. Seeing you post here is going to give my sweet dreams.

Hey Marty! So nice of you to drop in. Thanks for giving us a little info on what's been going on with you.
There is so much I could say, but I believe most, if not all of it, has been said before, so I shall be brief. I am so glad that you took a chance and allowed us to get to know you via RSINXS. You are a wonderful person, we all saw that on the series and every single report/review since it has ended have proven the same...that you are a very sincere, considerate, humble man. Thank you for that! I am also so very glad that things worked out the way they did...for you, Billy, Dino & Bobby and for all of us fans! You get to play your own awesome music and we get to hear it!
I will be flying in for the Aragon show and can't wait! I am so excited about seeing you and the guys in your element! The countdown is on!
Thanks again for posting and we will all be watching for more info.
Take care & God Bless, Kate

Hi Marty!
Loved hearing from you!!! You have made my day, but then again you always make my day. Marty, your words were so sweet and heartfelt - it just makes me love you even more. You truly are an inspiration to me and I want to thank you for making me feel alive again.
Just know that I am only one of many, many adoring Aussie fans and we all just want you here so badly so we can show you how much we love you!!!! But until that day, I will have no choice but to continue to devour everything that the Lovehammers have to offer.
Please continue to do what you are doing because I just can't get enough of it. Your music is all consuming and feeds my soul.
Until next time..............Love, Dani.
