Hola! Welcome. Ditto to everything that has been said. Wow. This is a first, I can't think (or type apparently.) Well this will probably be slightly repetive, so I apologize in advance. I'm not a big tv watcher, so when I saw the commercials for RSINXS I didn't really pay aattention. Then I moved to WA and one of my floormates made me watch "Hit Me Baby." I've never been so impressed. Anyone that can make Brittney Spears tolerable, is amazing. I've been hooked by the passion you've put forth through your music ever since. I can't wait to see you in person. Thank you for just being yourself and sharing your art. Congratulations to all the Lovehammers. You are all talented and deserve the very best in life. Good luck and please don't change too drastically. Oh and you should stop by the UPS campus when your in Seattle. ; ) We would be honored to have you. : ) Peace. Eas

Wow Marty,
You have to be the most inspirational person I have ever encountered.
I cannot tell you...I have told you...in hundreds of posts on many threads on four different forums and in your blog.
I have been reverent, and respectful. I have been rowdy and lustful. I have been funny and tragic and out-of-my-head insane for you!
I know that when I saw you the first time...for me it was Take Me Out...I was curious and intrigued and something else...oh yeah...aroused...there ya go!.
Then I saw With Arms Wide Open...You owned the stage, took your place at the microphone and sang that beautiful song...and then you did this thing...the conductor...it was the most profoundly sensual thing I had ever seen and I have to tell you...
....everything, everything in me that is "woman" was suddenly wide awake and alive with power!!
My whole life changed in that moment. The way I hold myself, express myself, think of myself.
The way I dress, the way I walk, my goals, my ideas about who I am and what I want for my life.
Thanks for that. Sincerely.
My favourite moments in Rock Star are the moments when I got to watch you working, deep in your process...working through a song...finding your place in it...being a man on a journey.
There is so much I want to say...my fingers aren't fast enough and my brain isn't putting it together for me...you have that effect.
Thanks for posting...have a good look around...this site is awesome and filled with love for you on so many, many levels.
You want to know how I tick?
Read me baby.
I love you.

Hello Mr. Casey,
As you can probably tell we are extremely excited [yes an understatement] for the Lovehammers. You all are such talented guys. The lyrics and music are inspiring. So what makes us tick ...
We love that you guys keep it real. Genuine music ... Genuine people ... Music that takes us places - from the hypnotic sleeper to the party of low-life insurance You guys make us feel as only true artists can ...
I am excited to see what your future will hold. Rock hard ... take "big-ass" risks ... and stay true to yourself.
PS - You have an incredible voice - I was just going through your performances and there is a soft strength behind your tone (i dont even know if that makes sense). Favorite was your trees/everlong set!!!

Marty, I have been reading all these posts, and I swear tears of joy is what I'm experiencing right now. Is an amazing feeling that we, your fans, all experience through your life and your hard work. So many people live their lives to make that difference. To make people more productive in their lifestyles, to protect their communities, to help the unfortunate ones find their way out, to contribute something, just anything at times is so measurable for the universe. YOU, contribute more than I know you even realize to people's lives, to their souls, to their futures, and to their happiness. So, just a huge cudos, to you for giving this world exactly what it needs, we need the love, the energy, the happiness, the honesty, the success, the vibrant light that you give off, the Marty Casey's of the world desperately is in need of exactly who you are, just Marty. I ordered my L'Strange and MOMM and even got a little note from Bobby, and I can hardly express that day how much I just felt happy. Turning on that music full volume and listening to what your voice gives out, is awesome and really something that I have missed over the years. Single mom here raising 2 kids alone, and bringing home the momma from the nursing home, oh my long story there, anyway, we forget over the years what it is like to smile, to scream, to be fun to be around, to be alive sums it up good. Everyday routines come too much of what you are, and then God gave us YOU, to bring back those smiles, that energy, those feelings of being young again, and the most important, the feeling of being alive! It's not just your looks babe, it is your voice, your smile, the way you stand, the way you speak to people 'up close', the way you visit a web site that has all these fun fans that just adore you, the way you give back to God what He has so generously gave to you, and that is your talent. I'm sorry to say that I'm so glad you didn't win the gig for INXS, even though we voted for you for hours upon hours, was a real happy family moments to keep stored in the old memory banks. The Lovehammers is your talent as well, and the chemistry that is not only seen, but heard through every note, every sound is just well, amazing. I'm glad you took this chance of a life time, God works in mysterious ways don't ya know? Take care of yourself, I don't have much to give, but if ya ever need anything, just call....lol... I live in Southern Illinois just south of Carbondale---Home of the Salukis----and I have met several people down here on 105WTAO, and other radio stations that are just waiting very impatiently for your new release to come out. I may even have to call in a request, something I haven't done in 20 years, will be fun. Keep up all the hard work, it will pay off in more ways than you will ever imagine....Oh and mentioning IMAGINE...Awesome that you posted on John Lennon's anniversary, way to keep up the memories and make new ones for all of us very very very very very loyal fans. Love ya bunches....Nancy.....the one from Southern Illinois....

Holy S$%*T!!! I cannot believe that the one day I don't log in because of the damned flu, Marty checks in with us! Must regain composure. Okay... Hey Marty, Thanks for stopping by. Whoever said that what makes us tick is You hit the nail on the head. Can't wait for the new album -- I am driving everyone nuts playing nothing but LH and MC all day every day and look forward to adding new tunes to the rotation! See you in February in Chicago --for which I have two requests: 1)please do a meet and greet and 2) play Clouds -- it my sister's fave and mine too. Constance PS: You mentioned needing people to show you around new towns during the tour. Well, I am happy to be the LH tour guide for HK if you are indeed opening for INXS on the WORLD tour....?

OH HAPPY DAY!!!!! I came home today to find a much anticipated, long awaited for envelope from the Lovehammers, so I got busy listening and watching and was so filled with energy and excitement that I thought I would share with everyone here, and wouldn't you know I find Marty posted to all of us!!! I will always remember this day.
Marty, I can't think of anything to add that has not already been said again and again by everyone here. You move us so. You have inspired and awoken many of us, myself included. I had been looking forward to RS:INXS since I read about it last April. The first night America got to see the performance show (Tuesday 07-12-05), I clearly remember your performance. My brother had passed away the previous weekend and his funeral was the next morning. Your performance so moved me I stayed awake and voted for several hours. Each week I became more enchanted by you and the depth of your performances, as well as by what a genuinely remarkable man you are. As I learned more about you, I (thankfully) happened upon the Lovehammers. I have listened to virtually nothing else since I downloaded and burned my first "Marty music" CD. I had never downloaded music or burned a CD before. I had no idea how to do such a thing and never had the interest or desperation to have one's music in my posession NOW!!! I am not even sure if my car radio still works. Good thing the Lovehammers CDs showed up when they did because I am pretty sure the one I burned is about to wear out. It has been said many, many times that things always work out the way they are supposed to. All I can add to that is you must have very, very good Karma and I hope you are really ready for all this. We will not be going away. We are fans for life now. I hope to meet you someday so I can tell you in person how amazing you are.
Hugs and Kisses from Cleveland, Ohio (please come here someday!!!)
Jodi
P.S - I, too, am curious about which video of yourself you watched first.

Hi Marty, and Welcome!! Thanks for taking the time to check in with us! It tells me that you really do care about us Wow, how things can change in a year, huh? I am so glad that I decided to start watching Rockstar, because I found you! You just kept getting better every week. I was also impressed by the way you made each song your own. Anybody who can take a Brittney Spears song, and make it "rock", is ok in my book! I also loved "Wish you were here". You have the most amazing eyes. Anyway, I wish you and the band much success. I look forward to reading more from you when you have the time.

Hey Marty,
Thanks for taking the biggest risk of your life. I think it's working out beautifully for you and the band. I can't believe how much this has affected my life and I think everyone else on this board would agree. Your music has touched me immensely.
Prior to this experience, I have never posted on a board, not into TV - especially Reality TV - just happened upon it and there you were singing With Arms Wide Open. Since then my life has turned upsidedown and I'm just going with it -WTF.
The Lovehammers rock! That's all I listen to right now. I drove down to Chicago from Mpls to see you guys at the Metro. The show was FANTASTIC! I am a hammerhead and am loving it. I met you, but I hope you don't remember because I was a little stunned and I'm sure I acted a little (lot) stupid - really I'm not. I'll be driving down for the Aragon show and then see you guys again at the Lovehammers/Inxs tour in Mpls on Feb 3rd. Need a tour guide - let me know. I'll try not to be so dumbfounded - and yes, I'll even do laundry too!
I hope you don't think we're all nuts - well, maybe we are. Did you put a spell on us???
I wish you guys the best - you're so deserving - couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
Hey HammerheadFL - was that you that I spent the Metro concert with? I was second row back w/hubby (they were body shields for us to have room to rock out) right in front of Billy? I just remember you were from Boca Raton. If so, I'd love to talk more with ya.

Marty,
How amazing of you to take the time to check out this site. As you can see, you have many fans who wish you all the best. My hubby and I were rooting for you from day 1 of RS INXS (we are fellow south siders - I also graduated from Stagg H.S.). Your performances blew us away each week. The week you did "Wish You Were Here" was very emotional - my husband's close friend had passed away @ 1 month prior, and your performance of that song touched our souls. We were shocked at the outcome of the finale, but are now so, so happy that everything worked out just as it should have.
Through learning about you, I discovered the Lovehammers and consider myself a devoted hammerhead. I have listened to L'Strange and MOMM daily since October and can't wait for the new album. My husband and I attended the Metro and the show ROCKED - I was in a 90 minute frenzy. It was one of the best concert experiences of my life.
The way you, Billy, Bobby and Dino took the time to interact with the fans before and after the show makes me proud to be a fan of the Lovehammers. You are all so genuine, sincere and appreciative, and we (your fans) love you all for that. You also took the time to sign my husband's white sox shirt for me (Thank you!!!). Can't wait for your show at the Chicago Theatre in February!
Meeting other hammerheads/Marty fans has been another wonderful outcome of this experience. There are really great people on this board and the LH board. All of your fans are also looking forward to meet and greets with the Lovehammers!
Congratulations on being signed by Epic - wishing you, Billy, Bobby and Dino much success!

Marty, Billy, Dino and Bobby in OZ...How awesome would that be?.. I'm thinking ROAD TRIP!!!!! Good luck on the WORLD TOUR! Denise

Dear Marty, I've been so psyched all day, bopping around like a bunny, so excited about the new album being released in just a few weeks.....Then, O-M-G!!!! I logged onto the message board and found your note to the fans. Started shaking so bad, I couldn't type, had to go lie down for a while to try to compose myself.
Thank you for rekindling the joy of rock 'n roll in my life. Thank you for your passionate performances this summer. (The only time I turned on my TV all summer was for one hour on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, just to watch you.) Thank you for being so kind and gracious to your fans. Thank you for bringing the Lovehammers into our lives! Thank you for your amazing music. I have had nothing but Lovehammers tunes looping in my head for months now, and that's all I have listened to on my stereo and in my car. Thank you for being such a beautiful person, inside and out.
[glow=red,2,300]PLEASE, LOVEHAMMERS, COME TO TEXAS!!!![/glow]

Hey Amy and Cindy, I think we had better get Marty a special avatar -- is it possible for him to have even more stars than Dan/Howard? I started laughing when I saw him descibed as "new fan"! And whoever warned him off the Marty fangirls page did a wise thing! Oh the things we have written!

Hi Marty,
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you were able to find time to read some of the other posts (but yes hopefully not the Marty Fangirls ones!) to know the impact you have made on all our lives.
I want to add my voice to the plea for the Lovehammers to tour down under. I can't bear to think that we Ausgals may never get to see a show in person or try for one of the much sought after "Marty hugs" !!

Marty,
It is a surprise and a pleasure to see you here on Cindy and Amy's amazing website (those girls rock!). You will find fans of so many different backgrounds, nationalities and persuasions, all of them galvanized by your performances and committment to the creative process. What's more, you've made our summer/fall (or winter/spring for us here in the southern hemisphere) a complete blast. Because of you I am now a message board and internet junkie, plus a vibrant music fan! With heaps of friends all over the world who love your band! We are all about spreading the love now on MC.org and LH.com and other websites besides.
And here is another plug for you guys to tour downunder! You will know by now that we have some fine beaches here, even finer than in Chicago, and some even finer women (I am also including beautiful New Zealand women like my friend Palari who may be persuaded to travel to Australia to see you guys play). I have just come back from seeing the new INXS play an awesome promo gig in Sydney, and I can just imagine how fantastic the shows will be with the Lovehammers and INXS throughout North America. Everything I've heard from all my friends at the Metro show was about how sensational you guys were, as well as how gracious. So I just think it would be an exceptional experience to see you here in Sydney. JD said it was the most beautiful city he's ever seen, and he was right.
Thank you again for all your focus and authenticity, because that alone has inspired many hundreds of people. As well as introduced us to your very awesome bandmates, the Lovehammers!

Marty,
If anyone had suggested back in May that I would be posting on fan sites I would have looked them dead in the eye and told them to go seek professional help. But, you have inspired change in my life more than you will ever know. I have had the courage to make major life changes and I believe that is in part due to you. It seems so unreal to me that watching a reality show would have so profoundly changed my life, but it has.
I was able to travel to Chicago to see LH at the Metro a few weeks back to see you in your element. That show blew me away! You and the LH were so in sync, it was a fabulous show and made me so glad that you didn't win the RS gig! Thanks to you and the guys for being so nice when we had the opportunity to meet with you backstage before the show.
I bought your 97 Camry off Ebay, thanks for Rockin it up for me! Still can't believe I bought it, but I am enjoying it and thanks for putting it out there for a fan to buy. I know a couple of people who have purchased RS sheet music off Ebay and it has made them so truly happy to have those things.
Thanks for posting. I will be up in Chicago again next week, then I will be seeing LH in Washington DC! Now, if you need a tour guide there, I'm your girl. Lots of incredible things to see there!
I must add that the How to learn Spanish tapes you left in the car were very helpful, I listened to them on the drive from Chicago to Virginia. Thanks for helping me with learning a new language!
Gracias para el coche. Yo le deseo mucho sucess en la vida y espero nuestra cruz de senderos otra vez un día.
Best Regards,
Ellen
