Hey Marty! I started watching your career and watching Rockstar because of your brother Chris! Chris and I have done business for at least the last 2 years and when he told me his little brother was going to be on TV I was intrigued. So I started watching and now I'm hooked! While the show was on it was hilarious. I'd call Chris to set up a truck for me and I'd always tease him did he "use" your name to get my shipment a better delivery time. I think he did, but you'll have to ask him. You and the Lovehammers have a great future ahead. I can't wait to see you guys perform on the 16th when you open for OAR! Rock on! Andrea P.S. Thanks for signing my copy of Murder on My Mind!

I have been away from the board for awhile and just found this. Thank you so much Marty for your kind words about this board....it is our lifeline to you and the Lovehammers. As you can see you have a great group of fans and we are here for you. You were the real winner of Rockstar.....the voting public proved this. I think your true fans were happy INXS did not pick you. We all appreciate your not compromising to fit their band. However we do appreciate how much they respected you and how impressed they were with your talent. They were very smart to want you and the Lovehammers to tour with them. It is time for this country and the world to see and hear your amazing band.
Merry Christmas, Marty. We all are looking forward to hearing your new album and seeing you in concert.

Hi Marty. Its wonderful that you could make the time to stop by the site. I'm from Australia. I loved your performances on Rockstar INXS. Are you going to come to Australia anytime soon? JD Fortune was here on Friday preforming in Sydeny. I was so sad when you didn't win the show. Will your new abulm be available in Australia on the same date it comes out in America? I can't wait for it. You're so talented. I absoutely love Trees. Keep up the good work.

Hey Marty,
I had to go back and read your post! You're awesome! I'm sure you get tired of hearing that over and over...lol! I was at the Metro right in front and you guys put on one fabulous show! I wish I could be at the Aragon so that I could meet you....the Metro didn't work out afterwards for my friends and I to find you but I did meet Bobby and wow, he's cool.
Thanks for your music! I listen everyday and love to hear your voice! There aren't enough words to express how much I enjoy the Lovehammers!
Just take it all in.

Hey, Marty! We watched you on the RS:INXS show, and loved your performances! You've built enough of a fan base of your own, I think you will go way farther than you would have with INXS. Congrats on making it as far as you did, and we look forward to hearing more from you!

Welcome Marty! You are definitely a class act by showing up here! You and the Lovehammers have a lot of fans! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed seeing you guys at the Metro. What a great show! I can't wait to hear your new CD and to see the Trees video. I truely loved watching you on RS and being turned onto the Lovehammers music through that. I look forward to hearing from you again. I second Penny by saying, "Thank you for being you!" (It really doesn't sound that corny Penny!) Love, Roxanne (Hotrox)

Marty Casey, you've finally arrived! Many thanks for making an appearance.
I've yet to have the honor of seeing the Lovehammers perform live, and the anticipation for January 27th is killing me softly. Your passion and sincerity for music is so intense...it came across very clearly in your Rockstar performances. It's hard to explain, but you truly connect with your audience in a way that I've never personally experienced. And that's extremely rare nowadays. You've awakened and rejuvenated our weary souls with the passion inside you, Marty. And we love and adore you for that.
Much love and soaring success to you and the guys.
XO Angela

Marty! Hi!
So great to hear from you. I think you sound energized and happy, and I hope that's close to the truth!
I'm sure we'll all be very glad to let you pick our brains, bounce things off of us ... whatever. (If I were in your place, it would be fascinating to explore the connection between what you/LH do and what makes us tick. That could be enlightening!)
There are some things I'd like to tell you if we ever meet, but I've been known to get quiet when I'm "on the spot," so let me get some of them off my chest now ...
... The night you did "Lithium," it was as if you reached through the TV and gave me a good slap. And you've been shaking things up for me ever since. Thank you, very much, for waking me up.
... Maybe you don't see it this way, but I think you're blessed with artistic gifts that aren't handed out to most of us when we come into this world. I can't describe them in a nutshell, but I'm convinced that in you they are there and they are profound. And all your hard work brings them to life.
... When I see you doing what you do, you make me proud to be a human being.
... I'm glad you're on the planet.
Hey — you've inspired at least two of us to conquer guitarophobia! Just like waiting4mc, I bought a guitar several weeks ago. Electric!!! Ever since I was a kid, I've had run-ins with acoustic, but I always really wanted to play electric guitar. So finally I went and got myself what I really want! And I will eventually tame the beast. Now, may I please have a lesson? ;D
I know NYC isn't a town you'll need to be shown around. But if you guys would like to "personalize" your time in NY on the tour by hanging out with a bunch of us, I'll stick my neck out and say we'd love to meet up with you for a beer, or dinner, or a focus group ;D, or a post-show "breakfast" at a diner (late-night breakfasts are the best!).
Please just know that, on some unconventional but honest level, the people at .org are your friends.
Stay safe, Marty. See you guys at Avery Fisher on February 12th!

Marty, Fantastic to hear from you . I truly admire Lovehammers and the fact that you are sticking with them. Loyalty is such an excellent quality in a person. The guys in the band really watched your back on the lovehammer.com board when some of the fans were freaking that you might win the competition. They were so supportive of you. It seems that all of you are great guys. My hubby, my daughter and I were at the Metro. Lovehammers totally blew me away. It was such a great night for us. My kid was totally entranced (it was her first rock concert). Stay grounded (that Midwestern backbone has served you well), work hard (as always), and enjoy all of the good things that are coming your way. Namaste

Marty, How incredibly awesome of you to post! Very cool of you to fill us in on your roller coaster ride to rock stardom and for expressing a desire to get to know us. It makes us all feel like special and well loved fans! I don't think you'll have much trouble finding people to show you around when you start touring...in fact I know of 2 very very cool cats who could be persuaded to give you the scoop on Boston! We would have to check our schedules, mind you, but we may be able to work it out... But seriously though, beantown and I would love to roll out the red carpet for you and the band in Boston. Can't wait for the show at Aragon this Friday! Thanks for giving us your blood and guts onstage. After seeing the Metro show I totally understand why LH has such loyal and fantastic fans. Looking forward to your next post. Cheers, mrbrightsideThanks so much to Cindy and Amy for this great site.

Wow! I finally got the chance to explore the site and I am absolutely blown away. I can't imagine all of the energy that is spent putting all of this together. You have to know how much I appreciate all of your time spent creating this page. I watched one of my performances from the Rockstar: INXS show for the first time on the martycasey.org website. What a crazy year it has been. I want to let everyone know what has been going on the last few weeks. There is so much to tell and I will try to give a brief overview and get into more detail when I get more time to really dive in. I have been insanely busy since the finale show in late September. When I was released from the show I headed out to Hermosa Beach, California in an effort to chill out for a second and collect my head. But, management companies started calling immediately and wanted me to take meetings. I met with the best of the best and within two weeks I decided on Doc McGhee - Scott McGhee and Mcghee Entertainment. He has developed the careers of Bon Jovi, KISS, Motley Crue, Slipknot, Liz Phair, Skid Row, Hootie & the Blowfish, Chris Cagle, Bob Schneider, etc, etc. What I liked about Doc is that he understood that I was not a solo act. I demanded that the Lovehammers be a part of the experience and he agreed. Some of the other management firms wanted me solo and that didn't fly with what I wanted to do. I almost immediately started writing songs and getting ideas together for an album. We didn't have a record deal immediately and I didn't care. I knew that something would happen for us. I wanted to put out a record that showcased the past, present and future of the band. I know it's important that everyone understand where we come from and who we are. We have alot of history as a band. A few weeks later I got a call from Sony/Epic and found out they were going to sign the band. They let us know that they wanted to release the record in January to coincide with the tour. That left us with about 6 weeks to do 6 months of work. The band flew out to California and we started recording, setting up our tour with INXS, got an agent, did a 7 hour photo shoot, did a video, went to awards shows and a saw a bunch of incredible bands. It has been a mind bending experience. We have not had any days off over the past few months and that is the way I like it. I like staying focused. I told my management company that I needed some time this morning to check out the site and let you now how much I appreciate all of your help getting my musical career off the ground. I feel like the luckiest man alive to have so many beautiful people supporting me in what I love to do. I will definitely visit the site as much as possible and keep in touch. I see that you know alot about me from this site. Now it's my turn to find out all about you. I want to know what makes you tick. I wanna know what your all about. We start the tour in about a month and I am psyched to get to meet you when we pass through your town. Alot of these places we will be visiting for the first time and we will need someone to show us around. See you all very soon. Marty Casey I will post again soon and get into more detail of the last few months and what's to come! I'm so shocked and way happy that you finally visited this site Marty! I never really heard of your band until you competed at Rockstar INXS. Because of you, the Lovehammer's has gained a new fan--ME! I can't believe you finished recording an album in 6 weeks when you said it would normally take 6 months. You guys are the hardest working rockers. What I love about you is the sound of your voice, your flexible and unique body movements, the way you are so personal and real to your fans, your energy, enthusiasm...I just can't stop gushing. You are definitely the new prince of rock 'n roll. I can picture you and the Lovehammers on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine real soon. Anyway, if you wanna know what makes me tick--it's listening to rock music, being your adoring fan, reading psychology, self-help, autobiographical literature, fiction & mythology books, writing poetry, watch movies and/or anything artsy, dancing, cooking, baking, jewellery making, and travelling. Oh, I started taking up oil painting too. If you're going to swing by the Philippines, get Mig Ayesa to join you in concert. You guys are good friends, eh? You two were my favourites, oh yeah, Jordis too, while Rockstar INXS was going on. Anyhoo...I actually have an an aunt who owns two music cafes in the island of Cebu and you and your band are welcome to play there--and of course I'll make sure you'll get lots & lots of free beer. The best beer in the world, San Miguel Beer. Filipinos love rock 'n roll and if you were to play in Manila & Cebu, you'll be so well received. If you do come to the Philippines, I'll be your personal tour guide around the different islands. By the way, I freelance as a make-up artist/stylist ...and if you ever need a personal stylist while on tour, can you please hire me? :-[unless you already have one... Have a Merry X'mas and an Awesome New Year! Cheers, Aphrodite31 [/color]

Marty. Thankyou so much for taking the time to come here and give us an update. I am so excited about the new cd coming out and can't wait to get it. I hope you make some plans to tour Ohio as soon as possible(and try somewhere like Dayton instead of always Columbus and Cleveland like all the other groups). I just want to wish you and Dino. Bobby and Billy the best of luck and great success. You have earned it. Tammy

Hey Marty. I can't imagine that you will actually have enough time to get to the 10th page to read this. I was fortunate enough to catch you before the Nov 23rd show @ Metro. I nearly ran into you. Being only 5'3" and you about a foot taller I felt out of place. But as soon as you made eye contact I felt at home and very comfortable. You were gracious enough to take a second to sign my ticket and then say you hope I would like the show. To say the the least you were electric! I have never been to a small venue and don't think I can ever have another experience like that one again. (Unless of course you guys play a homecoming date there after the tour! ;D) I was lucky enough to grab a spot to your right just at the stairs! I was rocking harder than I have in years! It felt so good and so me for once! (My neck actually was killing me the next 2 days! And the hearing didn't come back until Friday morning!) After the show we (husband and I) hung around to cool off. I went downstairs to buy my first Lovehammers shirt. When I turned around there you were again! I was surprised to see only a few people around you. I walked over with newly purchased shirt in hand and again you graciously signed it. Even had a concern that I might not wear it! (Wore it that Saturday to a friend's birthday proudly!!) Almost didn't get you to sign it because you didn't have a sharpie! (That's where my loud mouth came in handy, "Get this man a sharpie please!") I told you how the boys (Dino and Bobby) actually grew up nearby where I did, you asked if I liked the show. I almost couldn't respond with enough words. With every word you spoke you were looking directly at me. That made me feel like you are still so connected to your fans and have not lost sight of all that has happened or will happen. Didn't have a camera but I did have my camera phone which you patiently waiting while I found someone to take it. I got a nice squeeze from you and a very true thank you. I should be thanking you! I've always loved music but in the last few years haven't been too impressed with anything as much as I have the Lovehammers! I wished you the best of luck in the next year and to not forget where your roots are. The look on your face I can still see. "Are you crazy? I could never forget Chicago!" A smile and another squeeze before I went off smiling from ear to ear! ;D Marty you and the rest of the guys will blow the world away. I'm just glad you started here, in Chicago! (By the way. husband and Billy actually work together in the same business!) Should we start to plan a party for you at PGM next fall? Told you I grew up here! Rock on Marty! Rock on Lovehammers! Rock Hard! But don't ever rock with a hard on!
