Marty & Lovehammers, You guys rock. I wanted to tell you thank you for getting an old rocker chick fired up again. So much music is sooooo boring. (Boring Sidney Boring) Every few years an artist stands out BIG TIME, and this time it was you Marty. Can't wait to hear your bands new album. I totally dug the way you handled all the covers you did on Rockstar. Too cool. Chicago must be a good place to grow up in. Wish you guys lots of luck on your tour. And just so you know, not everyone is NUTS that comes from L.A.. O.K. maybe we are nuts, but were not ALL dangerous... L.A. was a cool place to come up in too with music, but that's my story. Take care, and I for one am glad you stayed with your band. INXS is cool but, you are cooler. Hah!

Marty and the incredible Lovehammers
Guys only got L'Strange and MOMM 2 weeks ago and I am blown away. Not being funny but you need a very minor "tweak" to become HUGE artists. I believe that the RS:INXS experience will do that for Marty and Dino, Bobby and Billy are fantastic musicians who will guide the band in a truly positive direction.
My only complaint is that you have not mentioned visiting the UK and in particular SCOTLAND. However I realise that it WILL happen one day.
To all the other LH fans out there, c'mon let's spead the word and get this very, very worthy band to the top of the tree (no pun meant).
Marty got a break when JD got the INXS job. The song PV never charted in this country and never will 'cos it's so average. I think it only charted at, then fell from, no.37 in US.
What number will trees go to in the US? Anyone got any idea? We know where it should peak, but will it???
Love to all...
"Wish you were here..."

Marty, First, my name is Amy and my username is not amy in soil like it looks like, lol. It's Amy in So. IL. I hope you come down to Carbondale, IL (SIU) and play a concert but you're getting in the big mainstream now so you probably will be just a bit too busy to do that for a while. But that's a good thing for you & Lovehammers so I'm not complaining. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching you on Rock Star INXS this season. Immediately, I became a fan. I have to say, anyone who can sing that Britney Spears song & make it sound dark & soulful like you did can pretty much do it all, in my book. But seeing how talented you were, and all the others too, as well as watching friendships grow & how nice the members of INXS were, made the show even more appealing. And so it became a highlight of my week to watch you sing. You were captivating to watch & it was neat to watch how you grew in those weeks. Loved all the songs you sang. And while I'm not a huge fan of Pink Floyd, the song you sang made me understand more about that song & how good it really is. You're just so darn good! I'm very happy that you & your band are able to do what you love. Not many people have that opportunity. As the great John Lennon once said, "I am the eggman, I am the eggman, I am the walrus, koo koo kachoo." Not quite sure where that goes in the context of this message but it's fun to say anyway. [glow=red,2,300][/glow]KEEP ROCKIN' & TAKE CARE![glow=red,2,300][/glow] Cheers le grá, (gaelic) Amy

Marty, wuz-up!
Man, I'm in the ATL and you can definitely hang out with me and I'll show you around. I was telling my boyfriend that we were going to have to hunt you guys out for an after part anyways. If you want a guide, I'm your girl.
Just want you to know I take you everywhere I go. You have incredible talent and that darn billy plays the hell out of a guitar. I love the hammers and I think I talked to Billy in the Rockstar board. You guys are very personable and I think that we are all lucky to be able to say that we helped push you guys to this point. I have never in my life been so "fanatic" about a band I never heard of before. But the minute I saw you perform, you had me (at hello).
"I alone" was like the BOMB and I was so excited by the performance, I jumped out of my seat. Then you were in the bottom three that next week. Oh, no, that wasn't happening again and I think all your fans felt the same way because that next week, you got more votes than anyone in the B3 combined.
Marty, remember this: YOU are the only singer besides JD that INXS did NOT tell that you were NOT right for INXS. I don't know if you remember that moment because I'm sure you were really nervous. But they never said that to you because you are TOO bomb for anyone to say that to.
I was just thinking about something: Billy asked me what "the bomb" was. So in case you don't know, it's like Paris Hilton's "that's hot."
We all love you, Marty, and we love the Hammers too!

Marty, It's so great that you got a second to yourself to come and visit your site! (Thank you to Amy & Cindy(and everyone here)...it is one awesome labor of love.) It cannot imagine the feeling it must give you to know that we all have been touched so deeply by your words, voice, and very presence. I don't really know what to say that has not already been said. When RS:INXS was going to air for the first time, I had no plans to watch it. Then I heard somewhere that two local singers made the cut and were going to be on the show. (Jessica and yourself, of course! ;D) I figured I'd watch the first show and check it out. Wow! After that, I was hooked! Absolutely incredible, Marty. I am so glad that you took that chance to go on the show and ran with it. After the first show aired, I was curious to learn more about you so I "Googled" you. (Did it tickle? ) hehehe I read about Lovehammers, and checked out your music. I love every song. How rare is that? Most albums have a couple of songs that I listen to, but that's about it. The rest seem like 'filler' or something. But Lovehammers music is another story. You guys are the perfect combination and I cannot hear enough of you. I can honestly say that there's not one Lovehammers song that I dislike. Some music you just hear. Some music makes you feel. Some music you not only feel, you experience. Thank you for bringing such an incredible experience to all of us. I saw Lovehammers at Tweeter Center. Awesome show! I saw Lovehammers at Metro. I still have not found the words to describe the intensity and energy that I felt in that room. It was so cool of you & the guys to take the time to talk with us and meet with us after the show. Being there that night was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you! I cannot wait until Aragon. Keep doing what you do. Stay true to yourself and Rock On, Marty! I hope that you guys get a moment to take a breather and are able to fully enjoy what's happening to you. Okay, for someone who did not know what to say, I cannot seem to shut up! Love you! ~Angie PS: I cannot wait until that new album is out! PPS: Stay safe and take care of yourself! (Alright, I am done now. I swear.)

Marty, You're right - this site does rock!! More specifically, Cindy and Amy rock!! They work so hard to bring you to us, and we appreciate them so much!! So, when RS started, I refused to watch it (big Michael Hutchens fan)...but a few weeks in, I was told that I needed to watch it, because Ty was really cool...the first week that I watched, I was absolutely stunned! And it wasn't because of Ty. I didn't speak for several minutes after your performance, and when I did, I simply said, "If Marty doesn't win, I'm gonna be pissed." However, now that I know Lovehammers, I'm so glad that JD took it... I am convinced that you and LH are going to go so much farther than INXS could ever take you. Who knows, maybe they knew it too, and chose accordingly... You guys are absolutely amazing, and I so look forward to seeing you at both Oregon shows... And if you're interested in freezing your ass off for a walk on the beautiful Oregon beach and a pomegranate juice, lemme know! ;D Keep kickin' ass! Smooches, Jeanine

Oh my god! I can't believe I have only just found this! Damn Telecom for not fixing our phone lines all weekend! Thank you so much Marty for acknowledging this site and all the hard work that has gone into it by Amy and Cindy. All I can say is that I read your message with tears of wonder in my eyes that someone so amazing as you would send us such a wonderful message and acknowledge us fans. We all know you and Dino, Billy and Bobby are destined for great things and I just hope it fulfills all your dreams (I know you fulfill mine!, well a lot of them!). I just hope you and LH make your way downunder to Australia and NZ to tour with INXS because I know that you guys will get the warmest welcome and there are thousands of new fans down here ready and waiting to be converted to the Lovehammers (I'm slowly working my way through family members first.....). Merry Christmas to you Marty, Dino, Bobby and Billy and your families, and all the very best for the BEST 2006 ever!!!
