I wanna have a Marty Casey wrist band but can't order one because I live in the Philippines. I tried to order the pre-release of the Lovehammers CD and they only ship within the US.
I might just have to create my own Marty Casey International Wrist Band. I'll design one and I'll send the sample to the moderators and ask for their approval.
Hey, if the Lovehammers goal is to achieve Platinum status, I hope that their marketing crew doesn't forget to distribute their CD's on a worldwide scale.

I'm bummed out for you, ahrodite31! I keep hearing the international fans on this board with this same complaint.  What can we do, what can we do? Hang in there, though, maybe it's getting everything processed with regional coding that's the hold-up. Have a marty-ful day! |

Hi guys, I have sent MANY emails to Epic/Sony and they haven't replied to one, so don't be holding your breath expecting a reply. Who knows if they even bother to read them! I have sent emails asking them if Marty Casey & The Lovehammers CD is going to be released anywhere other than the USA and no answer, I think I have now emailed at least 8 times with no reply. Their PR people really suck BIG TIME! If you guys in the Phillipines want a wristband and have a contact in Australia that can send me the equivalent cost in Aussie stamps I would be happy to send you a wristband when the new lot arrives in a week or so. I actually sent a PM to Marty based on his first post and told him that Lovehammers should come to the Philippines. Filipinos love rock 'n roll. We have so many good local bands and my cousins are musicians and I use to be one. My family in the island of Cebu owns 2 music events cafes and I invited him to play there. It's not going to be a big audience but very intimate. If it ever happens, it would be a private party for Marty Casey.org members in the South Pacific region or anyone else in the world who dare to travel to the far east. I even suggested to Marty that Lovehammers can play at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manila (which holds a 1,000) or perhaps I can cook up a bigger show that's open air. I hope that Marty responds to my PM but I'm not holding my hopes too high because he's a very busy man. I even sent him a necklace and bracelet that I made out of beads for x'mas since I noticed he wears those kinds of accessories. I hope he gets them. I even registered mailed the items to make sure they get to the Fan Mail Address. I can't believe I'm so crazy over this rockstar. The lengths I go through to get his attention, eh? You should read the lovesick poem I posted in the 18+ over chat called "Marty's Blonde Planet". Whoa!

I had even pm'd Dino and asked him about it last week and the sweety replied, didn't know anymore than we do, but just the fact that he replied was so awesome and just shows what great guys they are. If I'm assured that the Lovehammers want an "intimate" gathering with their fans in Southeast Asia, I will go to Cebu and organize. I will hold it at one of my Aunt's cafe's. Check it out: www.handuraw.com/It's going to be very exclusive because the cafe isn't big and I can only invite 59 people + myself. I can have some of the local Cebuano (Filipino) bands my cousins know do a rendition of the Lovehammers songs. My cousins who live there are musicians. One is a solo artist and the other is in a popular Reggae Band. How about a reggae version of "Trees"? Ha! If people are coming from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, and other places in the South Pacific; I would need definite answers. I'm going to create private & exclusive invitation cards. I would have to charge for the tickets/invitation because I have to book the entire place for the "Lovehammers Asian Fan Fest". Advance reservations required. This will only take place if the Lovehammers actually agree to this. I'm going to email INXS rep to see if they are passing by the Philippines and if the Lovehammers are going with them. This might be hard to pull since the Lovehammers' schedule must be so tight. Everybody wants them now. When you go mainstream....craziness happens. Let's just hope that this happens. Que sera sera! |

I share the sentiment here guys... I'm also from the Philippines and it frustrates me to not have the chance to get the pre-orders. Anyway, I got MOMM and the Rockstar INXS DVD from Amazon and L'Strange from CDBaby... Will be getting the DVD Live/Raw AND the new CD from Amazon... I'm impatient... with or without those autographs, I am getting my CD's! this is one crazy girl ;D hey Aphrodite... should have known you're from Cebu! just been there first week of December! Anyway... I pray your plan works out coz if it does... I wanna be rockin' with you!  |

I'm in Manila right now. Might be Cebu summertime. My Aunt is going to hire me again to develop the baking goods menu of the family's Handuraw Events Cafe and Kahayag Cafe.
Yes, I hope that Marty at least answers my email about having a fan tribute party for the Lovehammers in Cebu or even in Manila. I'm just quite bummed he hasn't replied. Dino seems to be replying to other MC.org members. Guess Marty is so bogged down with being famous and all. Can't expect him to answer right away, especially now, the holidays. I'm just being impatient. I can't help it.

I'm from the city of Paranaque!  Seems like there are quite a few of us now from the Phils who love the MC. Wouldn't it be nice to have a get-together of all MC fans here in the Phils? THat would be one rockin' party!! Marty should be understandably busy so don't fret... given time, I'm sure he'll drop you... I hope all of us ... another note! And him being busy is all good for us isn't it? That means we'll see and hear more and more and more of MC & LH!!! Anyway, wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year!! |
