I love Marty's style.
I'be been re-watching my dvds of RSINXS and I love that he still wears a lot of the pieces he wore on the show.
I'm glad he didn't let their stylist change him too much. His own style is so much better any day!
I've been to 3 shows and it's kind of weird, but I get very happy when I see pics of him wearing pants I saw in person. Is that strange???
On the cover of MCLH cd he is wearing the pants I saw him wear in Highland.
He wore the stripey pants at Viper which are so sexy.
I was so happy to see him wear the black lace up pants in Vegas (Hard Rock) because I had seen so many pics of them, but believe me - they are better in person!
Am I becoming a 'pants' stalker...

Right on Palari-
It isn't the clothes but the confidence in which they are worn.
We all love the fact that Marty knows who he is and isn't swayed by opinion.
Everyone can take a page from this book. One thing that LH's music and all the guy's styles have given me is to be yourself and not apologize for it. LIFE IS SHORT. LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR YOU.
And If we are all lucky we will see Marty strutting again real soon.

One thing that really impressed me about Marty is that I had no clue what a killer body he had on the show. I have dated guys that tall before, and just assumed Marty looked like them under those clothes. Mig, on the other hand, showed off his great body a lot and used it. Marty did not use his body. He used his talent. But now I am so glad that he lets us see those hip bones, those hip bones that make my get lightheaded. It dawned on me today that if any of the members of INXS had been female (or gay) then Marty would have won for sure. I think those guys just did not realize that they could have had a man that makes grown women with husbands and children weep with longing and joy.

I love the statement that the Willy Wonka look, with the hat and vest, only Marty and Johnny Depp could pull off. Marty is the first man who is actually sexier than Depp in Don Juan DiMarco. They both have that soft side that makes them seem vulnerable and open. And they both do crazy really.

And they both do crazy really. oh, and I do so love crazy - I love Johnny Depp, but I have always had "things" for singers, not so much actors. Now if Johnny were a singer, that would be a battle. That soft and vulnerable side is what makes them great men. We are all masculine and feminine energies, and that understanding keeps us balanced with the dualistic nature of our existence. I tend to get philosophical when it gets late, so yeah, back to the style - He even knows how to work no style in particular!

...yes...he does absence of shirt very well...
...and as for Johnny Depp...
I said somewhere else that
...Johnny Depp defines cool in the same way that Marty Casey defines hot...
am I wrong?

I love this thread!
When I was looking for quotes I came across this article that's been posted before, but I thought it needed to be in this thread:
From 2004 "On being fashionable: Our budget doesn't allow us to buy anything we'd like, but we're into style.
Queer eye for the straight guys: We can wear whatever we want but then we risk taking a lot of ribbing from each other. The band doesn't let anyone stray too far. The test is when you walk into the studio wearing something and you get laughed at.
Favorite store: I like SoftCore on Milwaukee. They carry local designers that are really creative."

Admit it ladies it's the way the clothes hang on the bod. I do like how he wears the tie thou, looping it into the belt loop and letting it hang around his butt.
