For anyone looking for Marty,you'll see him behind Avenged Sevenfold, look behind them & to the left when they are announced as the Best New Artist video. Avenged Sevenfold is from Huntington Beach CA where I live & my friend is related to them via her boyfriend (boyfriend's twin sisters date 2 of Avenged) - and anyway, when I heard where Marty was sitting & it turned out that was the same place Avenged was sitting, & we were getting the play by play over the phone from NYC, I knew where to look! Sure enough, there he is...so for all of you who tivo'd, there's a long good shot during during that award (it's near the end of the show). Maybe Shy can get some clips from it!  Cheers  |

hey Jodie! I just posted the same info on the "Found Marty thread" while watching the repeat show. It airs approx 2 hours 33 minutes into the show (this time is approx based on the repeat show beginning at 11:30PM and me seeing Marty at 2:03AM).
Edited to correct time: I have been told that the repeat show started AFTER 11:30PM so my 2hr 33 min time is INCORRECT, AND MARTY APPEARS LATER THAN THAT...sorry I do not have the exact time!!!

But yeah, cool huh! I was so excited when I knew where to look since my friend & her bf were on the phone during the live show with her bf's sisters & she said who was sitting around her... AND since A7f won, it was even better! |

Just saw him  you can go to the mtv site and watch the show on demand. There are 50 videos, just scroll down until you see Avenged Sevenfold clip, once they are announced as the winners, do as Jodie said and look left. Marty is standing, smiling and clapping. I await the day we watch for him and the rest of the guys to be heading up to accept their award. eta: upon closer inspection by fangirl, Marty is sitting but just taller than those around him  |
