We have some news and updates for you, but first a message from Marty Casey: Hola-Hello, You wouldn't believe it but my pale white Irish arse actually has a bit of a tan. Yep, it's true. I traveled down to Tulum, Mexico and spent an entire month reading, writing songs, exercising and just kinda clearing my head. Marty Nice that he finally had an extended period of time to chill out...and to write. Now that I think about it I can't think of anything he's written that I don't like, listen to over and over and still hear and feel new ear/brain candy. Oh man....can't believe he was in Tulum for a month. I was just up the road from him in February at the Sunscape Riviera Aventuras Resort....probably just 20 minutes away. I still think about how wonderful it was seeing him "live" in Lincoln last year.
Looking forward to the Lovehammers next album and hopefully tour.

Those that didn't get the email that thought you were supposed to....we had some bounce back. Some ISP's just won't deliver email list mail. Go sign up again and see if you get an opt in letter. If you do, then you should be able to receive the emails. We will be purging the bounce addresses in a few days, so if you didn't get one and want to, go sign up again.

I had totally forgotten to change my email address. I changed it on my profile, but didn't realize that I would have to resubscribe to the newsletter with the new address. All taken care of now.  |

Those that didn't get the email that thought you were supposed to....we had some bounce back. Some ISP's just won't deliver email list mail. Go sign up again and see if you get an opt in letter. Your email provider may block the newsletter emails since they go out as a group email. Some are just really, really picky. You might call their tech support and ask how you can add the email address for the newsletter (it comes from webmaster@martycasey.org) to a safe sender list so you always get your email newsletters.

I changed the settings on my spam blocker/filter as it was totally blocking all Spam mail (how dare they consider mc.org mail spam  ). Hopefully, this did the trick. Thanks for your help |

???Has Marty gone into the Witness Protection Program?
I know he prides himself for his good communication with fans, but it seems he's gone incommunicado.
Good thing Dino seems to be picking up his slack... but does anyone know whats up? I hope he realizes that keeping fans on-board between CD's is probably just as important as composing new material.

Hmm, I'm thinking it hasn't been really that long, he did communicate with fans on August 11th at Market Days. There were lots of reviews, reports, pics and vids that came from that concert.  The boards being quiet right now, might be because transitioning back into the school routine.  ... to be fair, at Market Days the fans came to Marty, not the other way around... and all posts and reviews were by fans as well. I'm not trying to criticize, but it really would be a shame if he doesn't realize that the most tiniest bit of effort on his part goes a loooooooooooooooooong way with his fans. |
