New Marty Song on Crash Test Radio

Did anyone catch the new MXC song that the Manno's played Tuesday night on Crash Test Radio? They said Marty had just emailed it them like 2 days ago, and that it was a brand new song with the House Band. I was listening online (I'm a West Coaster), and the media player cut off before the song came on! Did anyone catch this? Ryan said it was better than "C'mon Baby."

Wow, I must remember to listen. Thanks. I checked out their playlist and I see they played Flogging Molly and the Bravery as well as Marty Casey. If they had played Matt Hoffer as well, it would have been golden.

...just popping in to say i just heard "Maybe Tonight" on the Manno show just moments ago. I have to agree with them, as they said it is the best of the new Marty solo efforts. hope everyone gets to hear it soon- it's punky pop? hope that makes sense...

It was definately very pop, wasn't it? Didn't sound like a Lovehammers song at all. I actually think I like "C'mon Baby" better, although this one wasn't bad.

ok, i had to sleep on this cause i was unsure about the song

i may have to listen to it again to say one way or another but i do have to say that i love the fact that marty as an artist has gone outside his boundaries and is stretching his artistry. I think that it is great that he works with others to help him grow as an artist and looking forward to hearing more of this in the future!

I love the new song! But, I have to disagree. I can totally hear LHs playing it. It's kind of middle of the road from the stuff they usually play. Not heavy, not mellow - but definitely upbeat and full of positive energy. There were a couple of ripping guitar solos in there. I could totally see them doing this song. Can you tell I really WANT them to do it?

You guys have me totally intrigued. I haven't been listening to the Manno show, since it doesn't come on till 12-1AM my time, and morning just comes way to darn early!

Elise - it hasn't officially been released. Occasionally, the Manno brothers will play it on Crash Test Radio on q101.

man i soooo wish i could hear both maybe tonight and c'mon baby! just wish i lived in chicago to hear it i guess i will just have to wait till it comes out
