Starting a new thread here because I wasn't sure where to put this one. The last batch of questions that Marty answered were great. I know that everyone got a kick out of the "apple bottom jeans" comment, me included. This happened today and I just HAD to share with people who might think it was funny.
I work with first graders and I had pulled out some old pictures that I use to work on vocabulary. I was going through the "r" pictures and come across an 1950's picture of a record player. I said, "tell me guys what this is"....priceless answer is below.....
Little girl says...."its a box where you put this big CD in and then you close the top and then it sings......apple bottom jeans, boots with the fur....". Of course I thought of Marty's answer and died laughing.
