If you can quote any scene from Ferris Beuller's Day Off...
"If I was bleeding out my eyes you guys would make me go to school"
You can sing the tune to Mcgiver
You can name both members of Yazoo
You can remember where you were the first time you saw the Girls on Film video
You had posters of any of the following:
Boy George, Marilyn, Adam Ant or Dead or Alive
You know The Thompson Twins was actually a three person band and why they were called The Thompson Twins
Madonna's music was banned from your school dance

The 80's was the best of times....back when my now husbands hair was as long as mine Back when my hair was spiked out about 8 inches off the top of my head...my kids now love to look back at the pictures of mom and dad and laugh..gotta love that ::)back when the Phildalphia Spectrum was more like my home..I swear I was there every other day for a metal concert moshing in a pit somewhere...lol...or banging heads with good old Motley Crue..Iron Maiden...Metallica..I could go on and on......True product of the 80's here

AH the 80's....a decade I'll never forget, but parts I'll never remember....lol.
I wanted a Fiero SO bad....I gold one...it was my "signature color" back then. Gold everything...gold earrings, gold rings, gold chains, gold SHOES, gold PURSE!
I had one of those long on one side, short on the other haircuts too...oh wow...I had so much fun in the 80's!

Okay, I'm late to this party, but I had to say:
Hypercolor shirts!
Those were the ones that changed color. I remember it was soooo scandalous when the boys would try to make handprints over the girls' boobs. Luckily, this was eighth grade and I had no boobs.
Or how about layering different color socks? Or pet rocks?

Hmmm, the 80's. Lovely time - of what I can remember! Loved the "hair bands" and men in eye liner (I actually remember putting it on my old boyfriend). Maybe that's why some of us are so attracted to Marty - long hair and eye liner!

ahhh, leg warmers already mentioned. Hmmmm... frye boots? Or was that the 70's. I remember getting perm after perm on top of highlights till I achieved the total frizzled look, somewhat resembling a poodle.

Speaking of the 80's, we're going to see Def Leppard and Brian Adams next Thursday. It should make for a really good time! I wonder if DL can still rock like they used too. You can take the girl out of the 80's, but can't take the 80's out of the girl!

You can take the girl out of the 80's, but can't take the 80's out of the girl! I saw Brian Adams in Canada a few (many) years ago. I really enjoyed it, hope you do too. Never saw DL, should be a blast!

Oh my god....my brain is flashing back.... In my high school is was all about Levis 501, Lacoste T-shirts and bandanas worn around your leg (??) Hair teased at least a foot off the head ( I think I spend the 10th grade, high on hair spray) and of course I remember... Two All-Beef Patties Special Sauce Lettuce, Cheese Pickles, Onion on a Sesame Seed Bun
