Speaking of the 80's, we're going to see Def Leppard and Brian Adams next Thursday. It should make for a really good time! I wonder if DL can still rock like they used too. You can take the girl out of the 80's, but can't take the 80's out of the girl! I saw Brian Adams in Canada a few (many) years ago. I really enjoyed it, hope you do too. Never saw DL, should be a blast! OMG! You are so lucky!!! Bryan Adams!! He is one of my top 5 favorite singers of all time!!! My friends laughed at me for being so excited when his latest CD "Room Service" came out because they said he was a "has been" but I ignored them as ususal ;D.
I hope you have an AWESOME time and make sure to fill us in on how it went!!!!

Cuttin class to smoke a bowl... Designing and wearing your own studded leather 1/2 inch belts that were specifically designed to hang from the belt loop on each side of your hip to form a cris-cross pattern across your ass and crotch <big one I might add>... trippin on shrooms whilst taking a tour around Rancho Cordova on foot carrying Magnesium and burning it as you go... <ok... ok so it was acid... sue me!> The first time you sat between two speakers and heard Led Zeppelin go from one speaker to the other and back again... <whoa... and I can only hear out of one ear...> The night you took Soma, shrooms, smoked some buds, and had plenty of beer... and you hyperventilated and burnt your chest on the stove while trying to light a cig... <still a faint scar> Wearing a leather jacket buttoned at the bottom <showed the V shape> while going shirtless at school... Parachute pants tight enough to tell Petie from each twin... <you could tell lefty from righty>... The long hair syndrome... The f**kit attitude... Hacky Sack... <damn... that kept me in shape> Oh... the more common things? How about extreme dislike for Duran-Duran and the 'fashion' they inspired... The nonconformist 'tude' Neon folders and binders... bleh... How about how Jordache made just about everyone's ass look good? lolz there were a few who just <drool> (SNAP!!! back to reality and present day) <wipes drool from chest> How about... Your first piece of ass? LOLZ...

"trippin on shrooms whilst taking a tour around Rancho Cordova on foot carrying Magnesium and burning it as you go... <ok... ok so it was acid... sue me"
- first time I ever saw Boy George I was trippin on some four-way. Started out as a great night, but, needless to say, after that I had a really bad trip and never did it again!

Remember how we had those really cool tin lunchboxes with our favorite characters on them??? Now lunchboxes are plastic or those cloth zipper things......
I still have my Dukes of Hazzard Lunchbox and it's in great condition. LOL....but I remember other kids would use them to stand on or just beat the heck out of another classmate with them !

Yes the tin lunch boxes! Didn't they smell funny? What about the thermoses with glass on the inside that shattered into a gazillion pieces if you so much as bumped it the wrong way! "Mom... broke my thermos for the 300th time...."!

if you had a crush on Adam Ant (I saw him in concert with INXS no less!) if you knew the "real story" behind Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight if you remember being jealous of the kids with MTV if you had a hacky sack if you wore a fedora....
