Oh yes, I remember. I graduated college in '85! - if Dallas and Knots Landing were two of your favorite shows. - The Ramones were the new "punk" sound!

LOL....Did anyone here actually dial "867-5309"? If you came from the 80's you just had to dial that number once..I know I did...LOL

LOL....Did anyone here actually dial "867-5309"? I taught my daughters our telephone number adapting this song! We sang: I got it, I got it, I got the number in my head, I got it, I got it, XXX-XXXX (insert your real telephone number here!) LOL! I graduated from high school in 1979, so I guess I listen to, well actually just about everything!

OK you 80's babies - went to see Brian Adams and Def Leppard last night. Excellent, excellent, excellent. D.L. rocked! OMG they had a video going in the beginning showing their tour 25 years ago (can you believe it?) and it was so cool. They looked good, sounded good and I highly recommend you go and see them.
However, and this is a big however, just because you go to an 80's concert doesn't mean you have to dress 80's!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, but some of these people (and there were about 13,000) looked like they just crawled out of an 80's hole. I sware that some girl was wearing the same outfit I did to the Billy Idol concert in 1987. AND THE HAIR! Big hair and mullets! OMG after about 3 large beers I couldn't hold my tongue anymore! Thank God it was just my husband listening to my petty rantings! (I think several of these Virginians could kick my a**) When you can't have the LH you must settle on others. Def Leppard was a good one to settle with!

Slightly on topic...I have a shirt that says "I Bad Boys" with an iron-on decal of Judd Nelson a'la Breakfast Club (I saw it in NYC this summer and just had to have it) -- I think that's a sign that I'm a child of the 80's ('83). ;D

Thought that the New Kids on the Block was cool and goodlooking...especially Jordan Knight.
Wore the harem pants...like Hammer (you can't touch this)...
Wore a shirt with a knot tied on the side of it.
Sung...Who you gonna call...Ghostbusters!

My favorite outfit in seventh grade (circa 1980) was a pair of navy blue "Smith's" painter pants and a hot pink velour and satin tank top... With a pair of Bass sandals that were like flip flops but with crisscrossing double leather straps. How do I remember these things??
