That IS great! I am still waiting for 1 day that does not feel like you just took a shower when you walk outside. I love warm weather but can't wait for it to cool off some and the air to get a little crisper!! Have fun today and enjoy!!!!!

CAn you imagine, it is actually Cold this morning!! its 62! I am going to open up the house today! My dad came over and took my sisters inside cats to his house, so we can open the windows and doors!! Maybe hopefully, pray for NO MOSQUITOS!! Yeayyy *********************************************** I'm in Texas also, and it feels great. I came home and made a fire in the fireplace to celebrate! I know that is overdoing it, but it has been so hot and I have learned to take joy when and where you can, even in the small moments. Another joy would be finding out that Marty is coming to Texas in some capacity--no small moment there!

What a difference! Do you mean you just now turned on your heat when it is about to be below zero? At what point do you turn it on?

We have had a real wierd mix of weather for this time of year. The past week it was 26 and 27 degrees. It just changed so rapidly-and now will be below freezing. We turn the heat on when it hits about 5 to 10 degrees. But we are used to 30 and 40 below 0 with the wind chill sometimes.

That is incredible! We only have a few days during the entire winter season that go down to 5 or 10 degrees, and we run our heating most of the December-January months, and some in November and February and beyond. We have many 100+ days in the summer however, and air conditioning is a must.
