I click here every day. (this isn't a Spam site) It's for the Humane Society of the United States: Help protect needy dogs, cats, rabbits and other animals! When you click this link, corporate sponsors make a donation to the help the Humane Society vaccinate, provide check-ups, and spay or neuter pets who need care. Forward this email to all of your friends to help support even more! Simply go to the site and click on the "Click to help" button. It takes one second. Remember, you're only allowed one donation per day, so send the link to other friends! pets.care2.com/i?p=681687419

Hi Amy, Thanks for bringing this site to my attention. As a Welsh pony breeder here in Australia I can relate to the help needed for the animals. I can now pass this site on to just over 100 of my horsey friends and societies!! Lots more 'clicks' coming their way !! Helen.

Thanks you guys!
I'm a daily clicker and signed up to join the "race." I'm wayyyy down the list....#200-something. But it's just all in fun. It's part of my morning-just-getting-online routine. Checking email, doing my clicks, etc.
I'll send emails to daily clickers who also want to join the race.

Hi, Amy. Thank you for letting us know about the site. I donate often to HSUS and NSAL. I am currently a guardian to 5 feral young cats (3 are partly tame/partly wild) ever since my beloved cat of 10 years passed away recently. I'll definitely add this to my link and will remember to click everyday.

Amy, thanks from me too for this site. We are big supporters of HSUS, Fund for Animals, Best Friends and more, as well as environmental orgs. I'm happy to see this topic here. I find so much on MC.org to care about!

I hate to be a wet blanket, but this is really not a site worthy of your time. Only 10 percent of their revenue is pledged to be donated to 'their' charities on the site. Yep, only a 10 percent distribution between every charity on that site. That figure is a disgrace, imo.
Now...on to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). This is NOT an organization that runs spay/neuter programs or rescues animals. This is the wealthiest animal RIGHTS organization in the world. Animal rights organizations are not to be confused with animal welfare organizations, which actually do all the good work.
Animal rights folks (HSUS and PETA) are the most well known in North America....they are not animal welfare organizations and never will be...their whole goal is to get animals, all animals including pets, out of the hands of man. Please do not support these people.
Thanks for listening.
Cheers

Ummmm, okay. Thank you for your opinion. We all have various opinions on "welfare" organizations and although your statement is corporate/political, we all have the same basic want - which is to help protect defenseless animals. I'm sure there are many, many ways to accomplish this goal in addition to what I've posted.
I'm not asking anyone to donate or send money. All I asked was for a 10 second mouse click.
