I'm going to a Halloween party on the 29th and I will be going as Elvira/Mistress of the dark. I know that my costume is not too original, but I got the costume, wig, and shoes on sale last year. I also got the push-up/push-in wonderbra too! painful...ouch! ouch! Anyone else dressing up for Halloween? What kind of costume(s)? Have a good and safe Halloween!

Everyone at my workplace has decided to dress up for Halloween. We are the COOLEST bank around !
I'm dressing up in one of my Medieval costumes because that is my favorite thing to be for Halloween and I already have them since I'm addicted to attending Medieval faires. Sadly, I'll have to leave my swords at home....my workplace just might frown upon bringing some of them ;D.

I haven't decided yet. I usually come up with something. I'm a high school teacher, so I can dress up if I want to. My son is going to be a clone trooper this year. I'm thinking something Star Wars might be appropriate. Just don't make me put cinnamon rolls on the side of my head and I'll be okay.

Have fun all you USA peeps on halloween. Not big down here in Australia so we don't get dressed up. Might be good for a laugh if we did although everyone would probably think we were a little crazy!! Helen

We aren't having our annual Halloween party this year, so I don't know. Definatley not at work. The financial analysts aren't usually as wild as us editors are.

I did a blogthings quiz that said my hair color should be PINK so my girls are convinced I should get a pink wig to wear for Halloween. But what kind of costume to wear with a pink wig? Any not-too-sexy suggestions? (My girls are five and ten after all.)

Any not-too-sexy suggestions? (My girls are five and ten after all.) Is it a long, short, straight, or curly wig? Maybe a LazyTown Stephanie- Long pink dress, white tights, pink socks, and white or pink-dyed tennis shoes. Maybe a Pink Fairy/Pixie. Maybe a Retro Flapper, you know like from the 1920's... Maybe a Pink Ladies...something like from the movie Grease or Cry Baby... Maybe as Bubble Gum...old sheet dyed pink to fit all around you, from neck to below your knees, and carry a medium size pink bag full of bubble gum, so that you can hand out to the children... Excuse my running off like mad, but I and my friends goes a little nutty/overboard on all holidays. Never too old to have fun in life.

Hey wildfire! Great ideas! I don't have the wig yet, so it's all in for consideration. I bet my daughters would love the pink fairy/pixie thing.
Thanks again!

My Hubby & I are going to the 13th Annual Frekers Ball put on by our #1 Rock Station here. It's at a bar so you have to take that into considerattion when you hear our costumes.....I will be Orgazmo & he is Choda Boy from the movie Orgazmo by Trey Parker & Matt Stone (The South Park guys).
Not sure if everyone will know who they are on here but it is gonna be hilarious!!!!! Perfect for the place we are going!
As for work we are dressing up BUT can;t wear that so trying to decide between Marsha Brady, Arwen from LOTR, Evil Queen from Snow White or A Black Angel/Devil. (Those are past costumes I have) *Shrugs cuz not sure what to do - not everyone dresses up so kinda hard to get into it for work purposes!

*Shrugs cuz not sure what to do - not everyone dresses up so kinda hard to get into it for work purposes! Hello utahmrtygrl, Ahhh...but you're not everyone. You do your own thing and have fun! I don't mind/care if people laugh at me or are laughing with me just as long as some_body(ies) is having a good laugh. I like the Marcia, Marcia, Marcia Brady costume idea. I got to remember that one for next year. You and your hubby have a fun time at that 13th Annual Frekers Ball!

Me and my friends are going to Salem (MA) and I must admit we will be quite a crazy site.
There will be a V (from the comic/movie V for Vendetta), a Renaissance lady, a Dr. Crane/Scarecrow (from Batman Begins), a knight, and a Dark Hermione the Uber Sk@nk - that's me...it's been a joke in our group for months that we all wanna know what she might look like and so I've decided to just go for it - though right now it looks more like a Dark Hermione the Uber Rocker Sk@nk (thanks Marty for influencing my costume ;D).
