Just wondering what kind of tattoos Lovehammer fans have. I was flipping from the game to "Inked" and "Miami Ink" and am impressed by the serious tattoo commitment some people can make.
I like to look at the people who are covered in tattoos and want to ask them the meanings of them.

I have a tattoo from 87 and wish I never would have got it. Its a rose behind a bleeding heart with a dagger going through the heart and a skull at the top of the daggers handle.
Just remember, its forever.

I have a fish (w/long flowing fins). There are 4 small bubbles floating up from the the fish. Each bubble has one of the letters of my husbands name in it. Got it when I was 23. I always knew I wanted one, just didn't know what. Until I saw that fish, that was the one I had to have. Oh, it's on my right hip. It fits me perfectly. I love the ocean and I got this when I lived on the ocean in Washington State. I'm 38 now and I still love my fish and my husband! But, I don't get to see the ocean much anymore (in Montana now).

I am not big on tattoos unless they are temporary like henna, and not so permanent. I guess the closest thing to a tattoo I have is permanent eyeliner....yes, it is tattooed on, so I reckon that counts.

I have a Unicorn's head on my right shoulder, done by hand the old fashioned way in 1976 while I was under the influence of Jose' Quervo Gold. I've been thinking about getting a new one though. What about you?

Cindy, You must have a very low tolerance to pain to be able to withstand tattooing eyeliner on your eyelids, WOW! I would like to get my eyebrows filled in a bit with a permanent tattoo but what scares me is the thought of them making them too dark and then I'd look like Joan Crawford. Not sure if your old enough to know who she is but you can look her up on IMDB or just think about Bert's eyebrow from Bert & Ernie.

Excuse my ignorance Trees, but what's on your butt? I'm thinking about getting my skydiving certification and if I pull it off, (big if) getting a little purple parachute with my initials dangling off of it near my bikini line. My initials are LH so I thought that would also be sweet - Lovehammers skydiving down into my bikini!

I got 2 back in college - noy many girls got tattoos back then, so it was a big deal to me. One is a small bluebird on my right shoulderblade. The other is a string of red roses going down the front of my left hip - a very sensitive spot to get a tattoo, I might add...

I think tattoos are great. You really do have to remember that they are 'supposed' to be forever. I have a hummingbird with a carnation on my left shoulder blade. It's about 5 inches at the most. Later I had my daughter's initials put near it and had the color highlighted. I also have a hummingbird with a rose on my upper thigh. That's a creation a friend of mine and I drew. Both unique. Both will remain with me forever. You really have to think it out before you do it.

Excuse my ignorance Trees, but what's on your butt? Betcha Trees won't explain that one to you Henry You can figure it out if you plug it into a search engine though (she did spell it correctly).

I don't have one. I can't think of anything that I would want permanently. Have to agree with you there Penny. I love 'change' and I've never been able to nail myself down to anything that specific or permanent . . . I really loved the tattoos they got on Rockstar though - just for what they symbolized - and just imagine, everytime they look at those circles they will think about the bond they have with those who got their circle tattoos at the same time. I'd be into something like that . . .

Not sure if your old enough to know who she is but you can look her up on IMDB or just think about Bert's eyebrow from Bert & Ernie. The permanent eyeliner things wasn't as tough as one might suspect. As I understand it, who you get to do it makes all the difference. We did a website for a salon and I saw their work and was impressed. This isn't meant to be an ad....but here is who did mine (and this is the website). She was really really good.: gettinggorgeous.com/permcosmetics.htmShe did put anesthetic drops in your eye first, and then some kind of cream that deadens the feeling along your eye line...so it doesn't feel quite like what you would think. I have always hated putting on makeup...especially eye makeup and have always sucked at drawing that line. Once I saw the permanent eyeliner deal, I was like....I want THAT!.
