Everlong . . . right there with you. I'm usually reading 5 books at once, but I think yesterday was the first time I've picked up a book in MONTHS. I'm way too busy now reading and writing to Lovehammer/Marty fans . . . and I'm not complaining about the trade-off at all. But if this keeps up I'll probably be reading Chapter 2 in February  |

I am a mommy. My kid is 3 and his name is Riley. Here is a pic of me and the family(I am the one on the left LOL)...  I am hooked on reality TV but funny thing is I refused to watch Rockstar at first. I did not agree with INXS (or TLC) going on TV to find a replacement for their deceased member. I just thought that it made their death seem cheap somehow. But my best friend came over and insisted on making me watch Jordis on the Rockstar website. She showed me Mig and then praise JESUS! she showed me Marty. I was hooked and had to watch! I am a crafty person.... I dabble in just about anything crafty but my passion is candle making. I make soy and gel candles with my best friend. We do craft shows about once a month. I am also obsessed with Prince and Brad Pitt |

What do i do when i'm not here?
Geez, not a lot really!
I have two jobs, i'm a waitress and i work at a little cafe type shop.
I have a passion for music and can always be found listening to music, lately it's only been lovehammers though. I go to quiet a few local gigs.
There is a lot of animals living here, dog, cat, 2 rescued wild birds, a cockateil, 3 silky chickens so there is never a boring moment here.

I'm a subject-specialist librarian at an Atlanta university...although lately I seem to be specializing in a new subject that isn't part of the curriculum  I've always been obsessed with music...some favorites: Blur, Pulp, Berlin, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Ramones, Billy Idol...the list is endless! Also enjoy modern art, reading, travel, going to concerts... Single, no kids, apart from my cat. |

When I'm not being a total fangirl, I am the mom of three great kids. My middle son has autism, and I lead the only special needs Cub Scout group in our county. I also work as a advocate for the kids with disabilities in our school district.
I am also a rabid reader. I read anything and everything!

I've had my own business for over 6 years. I wholesale & retail craft supplies over the Internet. It's turned into a monster! LOL I started out of my garage and now I have a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse and 6 employees.
I have two furbabies - kitties - Bailey & Tiggy. They're about 5 years old and are brothers. I'll try to post a pic of them.
I have a handicap of the right foot that limits my mobility, so I don't do much romping around. I tend to be a homebody and enjoy my TiVo, watching DVD's, and messing around on the computer. I don't play games on the computer except The Sims. LOVE IT! I spend time with friends doing things like dinners out, movies, etc. I love to travel, but have been limited since the handicap.

What do I do ? Name is Glyndon, and I live on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. I work for a local hotel as their retail manager (liquor sales) and have a number of simple interests. Those interests/passions being wines and sports, music, film (arthouse, english, french, australian - very anti hollywood), cooking, wine and food matching. Have a gorgeous cat (see newbies from australia and look for Muffy) and a number of close friends.
Music tastes - INXS (been a fan for close on 25 yrs), alot of other Aussies - Missy Higgins, The Whitlams, Australian Crawl, Rogue Traders, Powderfinger, Spiderbait, Anthony Callea...and numerous others from around the world. Huge Kenneth Branagh fan in the movie world and rate the Aussie film Lantana as a must see for anyone interested in good film.

I'm next I suppose........... Firstly I wanted to share this......... Over the years I have developed what I call my philosophy on life........ It is my c2e philosophy...."Committed to Excellence".....in everything I do....... It has served me very well in some very tense and stressful situations........If I'm under the gun I always find myself thinking in my head or out loud......"c2e....c2e....c2e...c2e...you can do this......" Sorry...felt like sharing that. _______________________________________ I'm 38 yrs old........been married to my younger beautiful wife for 12 short years.......We have 4 kids (3 girls and a boy) aged 10, 7, 6, and 2.....and our tabbycat Holly. I wear two hats at the Steel Processing Centre I work for (been there 20 yrs now).......I am the Resale Production Manager for all machines at our Canadian plants as well as the Inventory Control Manager for all of our steel at said plants (Seven of 'em).......we also have plants in Warren and Lordstown Ohio with offices in Hong Kong. I manage 40 employees. In my 'spare' time........I have been a member of an online gaming community for 4 years.......aside from my networking business relationships......like this board I've developed many friendships with people from all over the globe.......and we actually 'talk' to each other almost everyday.........we even get together annually to make it that much more special. We run our own website and forums, build our own game maps......etc.....they are my second family. I love all sports and have played most of them..........I am a science fiction/fantasy fanatic and have a massive library......someday I will write that book! My family is my life..........so I devote all I have to them........ And of course I love music (all kinds)..........people say I can dance.........very well.........and I must admit.........the look on some womens faces sometimes makes me wonder if I shake my hips too much.....  I went to college and took computer systems tech for 4 yrs and decided it was not my thing.......so I chose a different path.....I also have been attending night school for the last few years obtaining business and management certificates in hopes of climbing the corporate ladder at a more rapid pace. I want to teach night school at college in the very near future. And lastly...I am a huge fan of Marty and the Lovehammers..........so in my 'spare....spare' time.....you'll find me around here....lurking and stirring things up......... Hey everyone, I will say it again, so many people with alot of smarts! I'm a 27 year old mother of 2. My son Garrett is 4 who keeps me busy with his stunts and racing motorcycles. My daughter Micayla is 2 who is just sassy we will say, lol. I work from home for a small company doing alot of computer work which varies from faxing and recieving to data entry, and sometimes payroll. I enjoy being able to stay with my children. Other than that I LOVE music. My mama taught me well on that. My kids follow right behind me as well, especially my son. When I have spare time I love to read 16th century romance novels and I like to write Vampire horror stories. I have not written in quite a while. I am married now for 4 years and have been dating him for 11 years. His name is Matt. We are high school sweethearts I guess you would say. He is very much into basketball and sports. We are somewhat opposite but we end up coming together. He is 6 foot 4 and I am 5 feet. LOL. He is taking me to see the concert in Feb. It was a Christmas gift which is the best gift I have ever gotten! Very excited. I am happy to be a member here. I will put this on my interest list. This is what I do when my kids are winding down for bed.

I'll go next! I am a married 31yr old living in sunny North Carolina with 7 feline children. I own a housepainting company with my husband and I am currently studying to be a yoga teacher. I do not read that much, but I do love Milan Kundera and Rumi. My favorite musicians include Bauhaus/Peter Murphy, the Beatles, ...and you will know us by the trail of dead, Concrete Blonde, Saves the Day and of course Marty and Lovehammers. I do love INXS as well, but they have been put on the back burner due to my LH obsession! I hang out with my husband, a few close friends and my parents, and while they are very understanding, they just don't get the Marty "thing", so I am enjoying spending time here and hopefully will meet some of you at the Charlotte show. I travel alot - usually to go to a concert and spend time in a new place - my most recent trip was a spur of the moment trip to Chicago for the Aragon show. My husbands family lives in Kalamazoo Michigan, so it was easy to convince him to go to the concert if we spent the next day at his mom's house  My current new interest is taking up singing and playing the drums. Maybe start a band? Who knows, I am just riding this wave of inspiration that LH have sparked within me, hoping to spread some good vibes of my own!  |

When im not in here day dreaming.......I am a mom to four busy children...The two oldest boys(16&13) play travel Ice Hockey which keeps me busy traveling up and down the east coast..Then I have a five year old boy learning to play ice hockey..so again back and fourth to the rink! Then finally the sassy one in the family..she is 3 and has stared modeling...so again more running around....and lets not forget one loving hubby who has delt pretty well with my Marty obsession! |

im a stay at home mom of 2 daughters 6 and almost 9.my 9yr old has a terminal illness its a rare brain disease called metachromatic luekodystrophy mld for short.its very rare only 150 people through out the world have it and its mostly infants and kids but adults get it too.they dont have a cure for it yet either so when i want to get my mind off of my baby girl i come here.

Since I dont have what my mom calls a "real Job" I street team as much as possible. The Airport is an especially good place to do this if you get a crowd of teenagers with cd players and let them listen to your cd then they tell everyone they know as well! Other than that I sleep and look for that "Real Job"

I am married, 37 years old, and have one daughter (one too many children some days). I am a special education teacher, but the job market is kind of tight right now (waiting for 50-somethings with their time in to retire), but I substitute. I just finished a 4 month long term sub job for a teacher who had cancer. I'm kind of glad to be at home (I can get my house cleaned and do some projects I've been wanting to get done), but I really do miss the hustle and bustle of school life. (Wish me luck for this summer when I go to yet another round of interviews) I also work at a local convenience store a couple of days a week to get me out of the house (or I'd definitely go crazy) and some spending money. My favorite bands, besides LH, are U2, the Ramones, and Elvis Costello. My favorite fiction books are Jane Eyre, Gone With the Wind, and Wuthering Heights. My favorite non-fiction books are Band of Brothers, Citizen Soldiers, and basically anything written by Stephen Ambrose about WWII (I was a history major). My past times include reading, watching movies, and walking (right now it's on the treadmill...I hate MI, it's too cold). My addiction, besides MC and LH, is chocolate. Maybe I can combine the two and have MC dipped in chocolate. Yummy treat! But, I guess that's more for the 18+ Chit Chat, isn't it?
