Hey all. Thought it would be fun to post what our all time favorite songs are other than anything done by Lovehammers or Marty. Might give us some insight into each others personalities.

A song that I would say is one of my favorites is "Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms.

Song - Beth Hart Drunk and in the Mood: When the Levee Breaks - Zeppelin I really don't get drunk as often as this list may imply.

He said that he never said anything about it being "19" 69. Went on to joke about it being totally about his summer of 69 with his girlfriend! I was surprised how personable he was with the audience - good show!

I remember being so excited about going to that concert, but I don't actually remember anything about it. We got caught in a snowstorm on the way home and ended up getting in a car crash. Nobody was hurt, but we were 100 km from home and had to hitch-hike. The concert is a total blur; I just remember how cold it was on the side of the highway. Edited: because Marty has turned my brain to mush. I actually typed "went to see Marty when I was in Grade 10"... Marty would have been 13 then.

julianah, once again I am laughing hard. I think we saw Bryan Adams at the same time -- although when I saw him he opened for Journey. I just remember that he told some really raunchy somewhat offensive story about a girlfriend after which my stepmother refused to sing, dance, stand or applaud. Weird day...must call therapist now!!! lol

She had sound problems and was singing and dancing for a few minutes without her mic turned on. It was hilarious. I would have rather seen Journey. P.S. I'm smoking some more salmon for you. Edited: because I typed 1996 instead of '86. Having a flashback; missed a whole decade; thought I was still 25.

My favourite song changes a lot, but here goes: Nirvana: Heart Shaped Box, Lithium, About A Girl Cure: Pictures of You Smiths: How Soon is Now, That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore Green Day: Jesus of Suburbia Triffids: Wide Open Road, Lonely Stretch Hmmm. I don't seem to like any happy songs. Someone needs to cover This Town so I can include it.

Listening to the LH has actually inspired me to dig out some music I hadn't listened to in years. Last night I noticed that "Into the Deep End" reminds me a lot of the Smiths so I went looking for some of my old Smiths CDs and ended up finding "Infected" by The The. I haven't listened to that album in years. I had forgotten how much I love it. I listened to the title track over and over again on the way home from work today. The LH have gotten me excited about music again.

Heaven was mine and hubby's first dance song at our wedding in 1986. It was really cool to hear him sing it live last month. Oh dear - getting all sentimental now.

OK, I can't commit to favorite songs, because it would have to be categorized (running, love making, relaxing, etc.) However, my guilty pleasure songs - ones that I can play over and over and over again are, and this is going back some: Silent Lucidity by Queensryche Love Song by Tesla Fun and Games by the Connels Love Song by the Cure I will never get sick of these songs no matter how many times I play them in a row and how much my husband keeps begging me to stop!

A local radio station here plays Silent Lucidity about every day. I so love that song. I think Marty would do a fantastic job with that song.
